"On arrival 'Grandad' greeted us with a smile and a cup of 'ginger tea' 😊 The location is peaceful and on the edge of the forest. Only 15mins walking to seven eleven, shops, etc. The room was comfy and clean. Good value too. Bed was super comfy soft to firm! Easy to safely store our bicycles 🚴🚴 A great place to visit and Grandad may also show you around his collection of antiques. HIGHLY recommended 👌"

"Ubytování má dobrou polohu, kousek do centra Zuberce, kousek do přírody. Nebyl problém ani s poměrně pozdním příjezdem. Společnost nám často dělal i přítulný kocour. Soukromé parkování."

Možná by mohlo být lepší vybavení kuchyně, přeci jen klasický litinový vařič už není úplně ideální zejména pro lidi, co běžně používají indukci.

Karaluchy! Codziennie jakiegoś znajdywaliśmy. Mieszkanie wydawało się bardzo czyste, więc może kwestia starego budynku? Choć klatka schodowa była brudna. Dodatkowo rozpadająca się deska sedesowa, brak wymiany ręczników przez cały pobyt i zbyt mała ilość papieru toaletowego.

"Communication was quick and helpful. The room was a reasonable size and the bed comfortable. The area was excellent with metro, shops and restaurants all very close by."

I didn't not like anything, but a knife to cut things with would have been useful and maybe mugs for tea/coffee as there were only some small paper cups.

The location was not perfect for me, I ended up renting a scooter which I highly recommend.

"The unit was very very clean. We were close to the beach. Walking distance. Beach towels , chairs and umbrella were available. There was a beach bar right on the beach that we ate at. We did not rent a car. We used M&M taxi while we were there. Awesome service. We also ate at Miss B. Another spot on the beach front. We enjoyed our time. Thank you. We were a party of three. Wifi was able to handle all your streaming needs."

"Very cozy place owned by an incredibly friendly and welcoming family. Breakfast was included in the price and it was always absolutely delicious — thanks to them, I had the chance to try several traditional Sri Lankan dishes I wouldn’t have discovered on my own. Whenever I needed anything, they were quick to help and always took care of everything with a smile. Their hospitality truly made my stay feel special and comfortable. Thank you once again for such a warm and memorable experience!"

The place is located a bit farther from the main areas, so you’ll need to walk a few kilometers, take a tuk-tuk, or have your own vehicle. However, there is a small convenience shop right next to the accommodation, which is handy if you need anything. If you’re sensitive to noise at night, it might be an issue — though that’s quite common for most hostels and village houses in Sri Lanka.

No good option to walk to beach as main road is busy and no bike lane. Small windows don’t let one feel/see the nice area/surrounding.

"What a great surprise this find is, staying with a local community and eating the traditional food ,only 25mins walk to a private beach and 10min walk to the ash fields . Here the rumble of the mountain like its a distant thunder storm. The kids will show you around with great enthusiasm. And all being close to the volcano and hot springs and the hosts will arrange any other activities and transports needed , This is the real deal don't miss out . "The accommodation is a little out of the way, but is an absolute winner in terms of price-performance ratio. There is nothing missing. About a 25 minute walk to a well-stocked supermarket and the top restaurant Papa Figo. To the beach, turn left and go straight on. There is also a bank branch with an ATM on the way."
