"We loved the location, this is a short walk to shopping, about 250m to beach access and restaurants even shorter to shopping along St. Lawrence Gap. We appreciated the clean room and having a full kitchenette for this price. Paula and Dennis are very helpful and they know the island very well."

"It's a small guesthouse so don't expect all the amenities of a 5 star. The rooms are not soundproof, for example so you will hear the roosters and the tree frogs...but we love that!"

"I didn't stay at Rio. It is being gutted and totally refurbished. I was relocated to Evelyns' apartments nearby and run by same hosts Paula and Dennis. I was charged Rio price for Eves' which usually costs twice as much. My review and scores are for Eves'. Beautiful, big villa with 3 or 4 bedrooms and a massive communal lounge and kitchen. Spotlessly clean and well decorated with nice furniture and comfy beds. Owners very friendly and helpful. A bit further away from the beach but, very close to bus stop to Bridgetown and other resorts."

"Maybe should have been warned beforehand to prevent shock of arriving at Rio to find a 'building site'. No longer taking bookings until renovation is completed. Existing bookings will probably be treated same as mine."
