"Fabulous location and lovely stay. There was no staff on deck so it was all self service but the owner working in the restaurant next door was approachable for help. Everything was neat and tidy and the bed was comfortable though I would have liked a proper quilt and extra blanket. Bathroom was fresh and clean. The room and building was safe and secure, which was great as a solo female traveller."

"There was no television in the room but wifi was good. Facilities were limited ie, no kettle, fridge, tea or coffee facilities which would have been helpful and the fold up table and chairs were serviceable but not for comfort! It would have been great to have those basics covered off."

A 15 minute walk from the train station gets you prime position in the centre of town, walking distance to everything but far enough from the market square to not have the bells wake you!! the location was second to none. Room was very comfortable and the bathroom clean with comfortable mattress. WIFI was reliable. Hosts were friendly and helpful, and gave me all the info needed. Being a pensione rather than a hotel, there weren't staff as such, which was fine and made clear in the correspondence, the hosts were available to answer questions on WhatsApp or the restaurant next door. Check in and out were easy. A very safe and secure space for a single traveller."

"It would have been great to have a kettle for tea and coffee making in the room, I find this small addition makes the world of difference when you are travelling, especially in winter. Plus a little more bedding, the quilt was a little on the thin side and an extra blanket would have meant I didn't need the heater so high. There is no tv or anything, again doesn't bother me but FYI. These are relatively small things and I would still happily stay again. Again they do make you aware that this is stairs only, so be aware if you have a lot of luggage!"

"It boasts a fantastic location, within a maximum 10-minute walk of all tourist and historical sites.They were very attentive and helpful throughout my stay. They even upgraded me to a different room without charging any extra fee."

"Because the building is old and historic, the stairs are very narrow and steep. I know this can't be fixed, but I want visitors to be aware of this beforehand so they won't be surprised."

"Welcoming reception staff, great bright room with huge windows, a few steps away from the main shopping street. Heating was great, super clean and cozy room with chiller. Nice bathroom with essentials and a hair dryer. Grocery stores nearby, a bus station few steps away. Cute coffee shop/bar downstairs. Thank you very much for an upgrade! Instead of a single room I was surprised to see a double room ❤️"

"If you’re sensitive to noise, it’s better to have earplugs with you for more comfort. If you get a room facing the tiny street, you can hear all the noises from outside as windows are not soundproof. I had great sleep anyway without earplugs as I was exhausted at the end of the day from exploring the beautiful city of Bruges ❤️"
