"This is the most wonderful place to stay. Beautiful and characteristic 1930s house with all bedrooms decorated individually in different styles. We stayed in the top floor room offering a great view of the neighbourhood from the bathroom. Comfortable large bed and a spacious room with good clothes storage. The owner Vincent is very charming, chatty and welcoming. Definitely will return again and highly recommend to others if planning a trip to Brussels. Easy to get into the centre via public transport."
"No milk or English tea - this is just a personal preference. There is a fridge in the room with kettle and coffee machine. Need to bring your own milk."
"Increadibly charming! I arrived late and spent the evening in the shared living room working and listening thorugh the record collection. Loved it! I asked about gluten free breakfast options so the owner got something form the GF bakery next door. Quite exceptional. Will come again when in Brussels!"

"This is an amazing and unforgettable place to stay - an historic art deco house in a beautiful, quiet district of Brussels. Vincent is a friendly and helpful host who puts you at ease right from the start. The room is huge with high ceilings and a balcony. The location was perfect for us, as we were visiting friends just a few doors down the street. You can walk to the centre of Brussels in 20 minutes and there are trams and buses within a 5 minute walk of the house."
"The two big drawbacks for us was, firstly, the lack of a shower. There was a bath with a shower attachment so you could wash your hair, but because the bath was not located in a tiled environment, you have to be very careful not to spray water onto the wooden floor. We always prefer a shower. Had we known that not all rooms had showers we would have requested a room with a shower when booking, but it was too late to change after we arrived. The other problem was the weak wifi signal, which was just about good enough for sending text messages, but not for surfing the internet or using a laptop."
