Bed and Breakfasts v Kamerunu

"Maguy and her husband are excellent hosts. Very friendly, breakfast is a lovely surprise every day with local fruit and dishes, made with love. Peaceful, quiet place where you find your peace. With only 2 rooms you almost are alone in the property and the swimmingpool. As we had our flight in the evening we could enjoy the whole day of the facilities. Magnificent view, a little paradise on earth. The room is very spacious with ensuite bathroom. If we can mention one thing to improve: the shower needs a renovation. Further on make sure you have good products to keep the mosquitos away. But absolutely no reason to stay away from this quiet little gem!"

A special mention to Rudi at the breakfast restaurant — she was truly lovely and made my morning better with the delicious mimosa she prepared for me. I ended up extending my stay by one more night, and the team helped me move everything seamlessly to my new room. Since it was raining and I was leaving that day, they even proactively offered to put some of my clothes in the dryer because they had been hanging outside, which was such a thoughtful touch. I can’t wait to go back. Waking up to those views is something I’ll never forget — everything was just perfect."

"Ubytování naprosto splnilo naše očekávání . Především nás mile překvapilo velmi vstřícné a pozorné jednání paní manažerky. Cítili jsme se jako doma. Vše bylo s úsměvem. Snídaně i když se vlastně opakovaly, byly výživné a ovoce velmi chutné. Když jsme potřebovali snídani dříve abychom stihli ranní potápění, vždy nám ochotně vyšli vstříc. Byl to perfektní pobyt."

Une erreur des clé du portail principal alors fallait à chaque entrée devoir frapper pendant de longues minutes le gardien de nuit sachant cela m'a laissé sortir je lui ai dit je revenais tard a mon arrivée je suis resté 45 minutes dehors à frappé grâce au groupe d'échange avec le client j'ai écris la gérante très déranger du soucis ma rassuré qu'elle fait tout son possible pour joindre le gardien celui ci arrivée 30 minutes plutard même pas s'excuser Et aussi avoir plus de chaîne à la télé j'ai été obligé de regarder France 24 durant tout mon séjour

"It felt like a little haven to come home to, somewhere quiet away from the city! The owners (Raquel and her father Jorge) are truly lovely and the staff are always happy to help with anything. I felt very safe staying here especially with the gated entrances. The garden was beautifully kept, consisting of tropical plants and flowers. The food was fresh and the staff made lunch and dinner if requested too. AC worked well, shower was hot, bed was comfy! I unfortunately got struck down with food poisoning on my last day, so we needed to check out later than expected so I could rest - they didn’t bat an eyelid when we asked and even provided me with some fresh watermelon/bread upon request. I sadly left a pair of my special earrings in my room too, and when Whatsapping Raquel, she confirmed her staff had found them and very honestly kept them safe so I could arrange shipping to the UK!"

Nothing we didn’t like, bear in mind it’s a B&B so make sure you get water bottles for the room etc which you can buy there for $1, there isn’t a safe in the room either if you’re considering bringing valuables (not that I didn’t feel safe with my belongings there).

There were a lot of roaches in the bathroom, quite impressive to still find these in December. I was provided with the access codes 2 hours after the check-in time, although i tries reaching out to them several times (booking, call and text message). They finally replied with the codes only about 20 mins before I got to the place.

"Dům je v zahradě, takže můžete v klidu posedět. Byli jsme tam sami, tak jsme se ani s nikým nemuseli dělit o kuchyň. Paní sice anglicky neumí, ale vše ochotně ukáže, má připravené a je moc milá. Auto parkuje u domu na pozemku. Až půjdete na lanovku na hrad, , parkujte nad motokrosovou dráhou. Je to zadarmo, dostatečně velkéi na větší auto (obytné), je tam veřejný záchod a k lanovce je to kousek lesem."

"The traditional Cypriot style and the charming little decorations perfectly matched my taste. The small balcony outside the room was so cute and cozy. The homemade meal had a unique flavor I had never experienced before and made me feel healthy. The hosts were very kind and happily explained the village bus schedule and how to get to our destinations. They gave my sister and me an unforgettable memory. I got a room in rhe endcof the corridor very few guests so the hot water didn't come before I stopped showering. But no big deal.

"Sushma and her husband were really lovely and helpful - milk for the morning coffee, delicious Orange juice and the phone number of a reliable taxi driver 😊 We got great advice to get around in the area without using a car, all in walking distance of 15-30 mins. The bed is very comfortable. A huge bathroom with hot water."

It’s a residential area and in the evening it’s tricky to get a taxi at the main road to go to Grace Bay where you‘ll find most restaurants. To return is easy as there are always taxis at the Ritz Carlton. We didn’t want to rent a car as we only stayed 2 days which was okay in the day but a little tricky in the night.

"Good location near the main street with bus stop and supermarkets and restaurants. Room is clean and bathroom is newly renovated. Although the room is next to a main street there was no traffic noise. Great with parking included and breakfast included. Good with some cookies and dried wasa bread and coffee is available all day."

The wardrobe in the room was broken, the door cannot be opened. A towel for the floor in the bathroom was missing. The breakfast is a simple business breakfast and not a holiday breakfast buffet. Stairs to come to your room. So if you have luggage it is a bit trouble.

"Great location, just a few minutes' walk from the town. Underfloor heating in the bedroom which made it very cosy. Great staff. The super Manager picked us up from the train station which was fantastic."

V městečku není mnoho obchodů s větším výběrem potravin.

"The family that runs this Pansion was very kind, from the very beginning till we left the place. They showed us a map and gave directions to S. James Church and other places to visit, which was very useful. They made us a delicious dinner late at night, and a home style breakfast. They are a very welcoming family, Thank you!"
