"Nádherný začátek nedaleko Dublinu. Skvělá komunikace s majitelem. Cca 3 minuty chůze od vlakového spojení, na obou stranách ulice kavárny a bary. Místo neni hlučné. Možnost zapůjčení kol."

"The Sailboat Ragamuffin is a unique experience. You are staying in a sailboat moored off of Water Island, where your hosts live after sailing the Caribbean for 30 years. They are a font of information and anecdotes about the US virgin islands and others. Jo is an accomplished chef and strives to give you the food types you desire. They pick you up by dinghy on the Crown Marina dock, and will take you by dinghy over to Water Island. In my case, I had two berths (bedrooms and bathrooms) on the boat, rocked to sleep by the rolling of the boat on the water. Don't miss going to water island, golf cart to Limestone Beach (coral reef) and Honeymoon Beach (the latter has turtles swimming around)"

The listing didn't make it quite clear what the accommodation would be - it described an apartment and a pool view. I thought it might be a houseboat on a dock. The pool view is the sea around the boat!

"A different place to stay. A wood cabin but with all facilities such as fridge, single ring cooker, air conditioning, huge varanda with room for a dining table and chairs plus recliner chairs and a washing rack. Wonderful views of the Duero river. Pick up the train (one kilometre walk away) to Pinhao - 30 minute journey along the edge of the river-for food shopping and long, lazy lunches or to Porto for a day out. Rail fares in Portugal are very cheap and half price if over 65!"

A request: a reading light in the dining room/lounge area

"Ideal overnight stop over for cycling in Flanders. Bart is a great host and the bar had many interesting beers. Breakfast in the morning was excellent."

The sleeping accommodation in the small boat was a bit cramped and in hot weather not very comfortable.

Remember you are in a very fancy tent on the glacier lagoon rather than a hotel room :) All very clearly communicated so no surprise, but beware that the toilet is a fraction of an airplane toilet with no real door, there is no shower, and you need to be super careful with everything.

"I loved the cozy boat house vibe and the thoughtful staff—they even gifted a local boat tour, which made the stay fun. The location was quiet yet easy to get around, and the space was clean and comfortable."

There’s barely anything to fault, but the spot is a bit far from busy areas. It wasn’t a real issue for us, though, since we wanted a peaceful stay.

Der Gastgeber Franck ist sehr nett und er erklärt auch wunderbar die Handhabung des Dingis, so dass man auch jederzeit an Land gehen kann. Möchte man aber bei so einem paradiesischen Hausboot gar nicht :-). Mehr Karibik geht nicht!"

"Bylo to poprvé, co jsme spali na lodi a byl to naprosto perfektní zážitek. Loď byla krásně vybavená, útulná, příjemné posezení na palubě. Ideální poloha, vybavení lodi bylo skvělé-lednice s nápoji za rozumnou cenu, zdarma káva, čaj, voucher na snídani do nedaleké restaurace. Snídaně byla moc dobrá, velká porce. Přilehlé zázemí se sprchami na výborné úrovni, sprcha včetně toalety zamykatelná a dostatečně velká, vše čisté, moderní, dostatek soukromí. Majitelé byli velmi milí a nápomocní."

"Great value. Comfortable room with decent shower. Amazing views of the marina."

This is a new concept. A few teething issues to sort. Breakfast took a long time. They should also make you aware in advance about cruise timings as it means the boat is unaccessible. This is OK providing your planning an evening out somewhere anyway. Evening cruise from 8pm to 11pm in our case

"A 2 pas du centre historique de Douarnenez sur le port, charmand petit voilier où il fait bon séjourner ; ce n'est pas très grand (normal), mais c'est bien aménagé, et vous avez tout pour passer un bon séjour insolite."

Il peut faire un peu frais et humide (mais nous y étions en février ce qui est normal sur un bateau)
