Ubytování na lodi na Maltě

"A different place to stay. A wood cabin but with all facilities such as fridge, single ring cooker, air conditioning, huge varanda with room for a dining table and chairs plus recliner chairs and a washing rack. Wonderful views of the Duero river. Pick up the train (one kilometre walk away) to Pinhao - 30 minute journey along the edge of the river-for food shopping and long, lazy lunches or to Porto for a day out. Rail fares in Portugal are very cheap and half price if over 65!"

"Ubytování bylo takové jak jsme očekávali, snídaně dobré, sortiment dostačující. Skvělá byla lokace místa. Cca 5 minut chůze od stanice metra Gamla stan. Byli jsme ubytováni na vedlejší lodi, tak se na snídani muselo docházet, ale skvělé byly lavičky se stoly na molu a vstup na molo přes bránu"

Bohužel jsme dostali pokoj umístěný tak, že jediné co jsme viděli z okna bylo molo a kabely vedoucí podél něj. (takové bydlení v suterenu)

"Clean, well looking hotel. Hot water, good rooms, beds and overall. Staff is always present, helpful and very hospitable! Location itself is good, especially if you need to reach the airport and the transport stations."

The only disadvantage is the big telecommunication tower just to the side of the hotel. I personally prefer not to be microwaved.

"The Sailboat Ragamuffin is a unique experience. You are staying in a sailboat moored off of Water Island, where your hosts live after sailing the Caribbean for 30 years. They are a font of information and anecdotes about the US virgin islands and others. Jo is an accomplished chef and strives to give you the food types you desire. They pick you up by dinghy on the Crown Marina dock, and will take you by dinghy over to Water Island. In my case, I had two berths (bedrooms and bathrooms) on the boat, rocked to sleep by the rolling of the boat on the water. Don't miss going to water island, golf cart to Limestone Beach (coral reef) and Honeymoon Beach (the latter has turtles swimming around)"

The listing didn't make it quite clear what the accommodation would be - it described an apartment and a pool view. I thought it might be a houseboat on a dock. The pool view is the sea around the boat!
