The ski-in Alpenlodge Superior is located on a sunny slope on the edge of Zermatt, offering panoramic views of the Matterhorn and free access to the wellness area. The modern Zen centrum péče has a sauna and a steam bath. Guests can enjoy stunning views from the relaxation room over the surrounding mountains. All rooms in the Alpenlodge Superior are furnished in elegant, contemporary Alpine style and offer free Wi-Fi. Cable flat-screen TVs and DVD players are featured in every room. Bathrobes and a hairdryer are also provided. Every day free coffee, tea and cakes are served. The cosy lounge bar with its open fireplace is an inviting place to relax after a day out in the mountains. Guests can also enjoy the common terrace offering panoramic views of the village and the impressive Matterhorn. The Sunneggabahn cable car and the buses to the Matterhorn cable cars are only a 5-minute walk away from the Alpenlodge Superior. Ski passes can be bought at the guest house. The train station and the Gornergrat cog cable car can be reached on foot within 10 minutes. Transfers to the cable cars are available at an additional cost. Transfers to and from the train stations are available free of charge if guests are staying 2 nights or longer.

"Hotel se nachází na kraji Zermattu v klidné lokalitě bez restaurací. Pokoj byl vkusně vybavený, prostorný a s nádherným výhledem na Matterhorn. Postele byly prostorné a pohodlné. Na pokoji jsme měli k dispozici rychlovarnou konvici, čaje i kávu a odpoledne byla možnost dát si zákusek."
"Kousek vedle hotelu probíhala rekonstrukce a řemeslníci nás pravidelně ráno vzbudili. Dále bych ocenila možnost udělat si sama čaj, případně kávu při snídani. Úklid probíhal každý den a všude bylo čisto, jen u podlahy jsem neměla pocit, že by ji někdo pravidelně zametal."
"Velmi klidná lokalita, asi 10 minut od centra. Taxi v ceně ubytování. Skvělé a naprosto čerstvé snídaně. Krásný výhled na Matterhorn z terasy. Zajímavě řešený dvoupatrový pokoj s vanou a sprchou v pokoji."

"All the staff are very friendly and helpful! For skiers/snowboarders, the location actually perfect. Balcony is facing Matterhorn, just next to the public view point, therefore it’s on the hill, however you can ski/snowboard directly from route 2 ( through the woods) lol so highly recommend this hotel"

"I loved how private and cozy the place was! It's a little bit outside the town, so you're away from the rush of the town. The owners are adorable and provided special breakfast food for my gluten and lactose intolerant friend. In the afternoon you can eat cake and drink tea for free in the lounge, it's so comfy"
