"Location is excellent , very close to the Kunstmuseum and Cathedral, you can walk along the Rhine, and cross it by boat , not many shops nearby but that's what Googleaps are for . Basel is a lovely city to explore. Breakfast by 5he way is fabulous!"

"The reception staff were really professional and helpful. The location is near a tram line and a 10 minute walk from the centre. Note about free travel. Your booking gives you free travel from the airport and the reception give you a pass on check in. The breakfast is European cold breakfast with ample choice. I was in the new concrete finished rooms. I’m a builder and the minimalism suited me perfectly. The facilities are very good. It’s warm and social. I chose a room with a private bathroom but after seeing the amount of common bathrooms available. I would choose just the room next time."

"Location is good and just next to the river. Showers are very useful and clean. Breakfast was pretty enough and good. Friendly stuff plus some of them need to pay more attention to making eye contact."

"You need 2 frank to lock your closet in your room. It's annoying if you dont have coins and even if you have and unlock the closet coin just fall down and make noise everytime. Beds are comfortable yet if you pick to sleep lower bunk when the person who sleeps over you, very unfortunately you feel every movement like an earthquake cause you wake up each time."

"The staff of the hostel was very kind and accommodating, even though I was leaving before the kitchen opened, they offered to prepare some breakfast and make coffee for me. Rooms, bathrooms and toilets are clean and well maintained. The suitcases are big, the biggest I've seen in a hostel, I think a large suitcase can fit without any problems and there would still be room. The location is excellent, it is easy to get to the accommodation as well as to the main attractions. All praises"

"The only "flaw" was that the hostel seemed empty to me, i was two nights alone in the room. Maybe I was out of season, maybe because the hostel is big, I honestly don't know. It's a shame that there isn't a room or an area with couches, sofas or lazy bags, where people could gather and socialize. They have some places to sit near the reception, but they seem too formal to me"
