"There is a fabulous restaurant downstairs in the hotel. It is a nice old building which is very Swiss and we appreciated that aspect. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a balcony with seating to enjoy right above the creek. We didn't stay in Lauenen that long as we were heading out the next day on a hiking trip but the hotel was located in a place where it was easy to walk to or catch the bus to other locations nearby. It was easy to take the bus from the Gstaad train station to the hotel."

"The breakfast was a lovely buffet with a variety of yummy things to eat including breads, cereals, cheese, yoghurts, jams, juices, eggs and enough coffee to start our day and fuel us for our hike. Thank you to the wonderful Hotel Wildhorn staff!"
