"Eddy and his family were really helpful and kind, there were padded chairs in the bedroom, the bed was comfortable. I liked the location close to the centre. Nice outside space to chill out. Very good breakfast."

"I would have liked to watch TV as I was really tired but we couldn't get it to work...they all tried but it wouldn't work. A really small complaint and they couldn't have tried harder."

"The staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed in a Superior Bungalow which had magnificent views so a good place to be when it rained. Staff gave us a lesson in how to use the spa so could have a soak when it was cold & rainy outside. Room was super clean & food in restaurant tasty. We stayed for 6 days, did the walking trails each day and saw heaps of birds."

"We loved this place - set out in the middle of the rain forest with little other than toucans, howler monkeys, bats and agouti for company. I admit that if you are looking for a bland, all inclusive resort - La Ceiba may not be for you. But if you you want to sleep in the rainforest then this place is beyond perfect. There's a decent track about 400m long from where you park to the accommodation. It is lit at night - watch out for snakes and you'll definitely see frogs."
