"Great and clean room with a nice balcony and the food is absoletly great. Its a few minutes by foot from the minibus station, but its easy to find and also taxis are cheap and readily available in Assomada. The location itself is great to explore the area. Couldn't have been better. Absolutely recommended."

"A little outside of Assomada city center (but an easy enough straightforward walk), Casa Toota offers a nice room with a good (hard) bed, little balcony and cosy common spaces. Along the main road going into Assomada but it's quiet enough at night. Toota herself was ever so kind, accommodating, caring. Can only recommend."

"The lady working there was really nice, she didn't speak English but we know a little French so everything went well. The place and room was great and clean. At breakfast everything was fresh and nice."

"The shower's water pressure was little weak but it didn't bother us that much (the water was warm)."

"A nice view from a spacious balcony, beautiful interior and gorgeous paintings on the wall. It was fascinating to stay here for one night in our trip through the island. Apart of that, we got the receipt and tasting of craft grog drink which is so good."

"A amabilidade da dona tota. É uma força da natureza, uma inspiração conhecer uma senhora com a sua idade a tratar de uma casa e a receber pessoas dessa forma. Jantamos lá em casa , o que recomendamos para ter a experiência completa. Experiência única e até agora o ponto alto da nossa viagem."

"Hele leuk verblijf. Tota is zeer zorgzaam en kan geweldig koken. Mocht je frans of portugees spreken dan is het heel gezellig met haar te praten. Je krijgt dan een mooie inkijk in het Kaap Verdiaanse leven."

"L’accueil très chaleureux de Zulmira, sa bienveillance, aux petits soins pour ses hôtes. Jolie maison cap verdienne bien décorée, confortable et propre. D’excellents repas le soir , l’occasion de pas mal d’échanges sur l’histoire du Cap Vertt, de sa vie … Zulmira est vraiment une belle personne."

"Our stay was excellent. Our hostess lives in the house and she was always helpful with our questions and requests. When we found ourselves without a rental car, she saved the situation and found a rental car for us. We also had a fantastic traditional breakfast from the hostess, which was incredibly nice. Thanks a lot for everything. The apartments are located a bit outside the city center, but we had an easy and convenient minibus ride from the main road, a real local experience."

"The location is wonderful: stunning view, pleasantly quiet and very spacious. You can have breakfast at the landlord‘s Café/Restaurant „Alma Criola“ nearby (maybe 1 Minute away;). The dishes offered there are outstanding and served creole style. The landlord offers sightseeingtours to explore the Island. He could tell a lot about the history and you‘ll visit places, you wouldn‘t have seen otherwise. Very lovely tour!"

"We really like the location in Porto Antigo, not busy or noisy and close to the main street, supermarket/restaurants. Everything surrounding our apartment and the hotel Porto Antigo is very pretty and relaxing, there is a pool available and an almost private beach, good for windy days, only a few steps away from the apartment. Carolina was our host, super friendly and always available when we needed any information. Things to improve, definitely the main bed, a better bed frame and mattress would be highly recommended and the shower is a little temperamental, hot water doesn't last long... We would come back to this place :)"

"I loved the apartment, it was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The location was great, it is walking distance to the main beaches and close to restaurants and supermarkets in a local neighbourhood. I would definitely recommend this property, the hosts was always available and reachable. Bonus points, it had a moka coffee pot!"
