"The room was very spacious which was great. The kitchen was really well equipped (better than most I’ve been in). Maria was really kind and always at hand to help with any questions I had or if I needed anything. Location is excellent!"

"Unfortunately there is some building work going on next door which involves a lot of welding and hammering - but it doesn’t start until about 8am and finishes at about 4pm and if out and about you wouldn’t even notice really!"

"Bit of a walk to the main town area with restaurants and shops but there are a couple of bakeries and supermarkets not too far away. Unfortunately the in-room kitchen has nowhere to store food that the ants can't get into."

"I was missing a chair in the room to sit on and not on the clean bed sheets. Shared kitchen belongs to the owning family so you might feel a bit like intruder, though they're very nice and polite."

"Don't let the weird entrance confuse you (I was at first!), this is a great value Hostal, very clean, with A/C and an incredibly nice and helpful hostess, would definitely visit again. While it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the center, it's very close to the airport (5 minutes with full backpack and all), so if you fly in and/or out of San Cristobal, I especially recommend staying here. A lavanderia and a mini-market are less than 5 minutes walking distance away."

"Everything was absolutly fantastic! Good location near airport and city centre. You can walk to darwin bay and other beachs like playa mann (only 30 minutes). Free water to drink, snorkel equipment is free to use too. Maria is a wonderful person! The room has a/c to refresh the air and there was cleaning service everyday."
