"Our stay at the coconut farm in Mauritius was simply incredible. Surrounded by pure nature and wild beauty, we experienced something truly special and unique. Christine is an great host. She takes such loving care of her guests and is always attentive and genuinely committed to making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. "Exactly what I wanted and more. Gorgeous rice fields, feels completely away from everything (but has good wifi). Quiet, beautiful. Theres a pond where you can fish with sticky rice. Many places to just sit and take it all in. Fire pit!!! Walking distance (or moto) to Kuangsi Waterfall via back path amongst the water buffalos, farmers and local life."

Very little selection for food and drinks. The first night dinner was fantastic, the second night, ordered the exact same thing and it was sooooo dissappointing. The owner addressed this and gave partial refund. There is no hot water which is a bit shocking at first. But my friends cabin didnt have any constant water pressure. Again the owner addressed issue right away. Nearby farms may be burning at times and the smoke goes right into the cabin. Unavoidable.

"Beautiful house set in the middle of nature. We booked a larger room to have some more space and it was very big with a huge terrace which we loved. The farm itself was full of different fruit trees and plants and Santhosh was kind to show us around and explain what was what. He also organised a tuktuk tour in the forest for half a day which we really enjoyed. He let us know about a local festival happening in a town nearby and even drove us back after. Breakfast was great, and so was dinner which we asked for on the last evening. We booked this place to experience the peace and nature in Kerala and this is exactly what we got, would 100% reccommend!"

The shower in our bathroom didn't have hot water connected, so in order to use the hot water, we needed to use a bucket and a jug to shower. Pillow cases were not very soft.

"We had an awesome stay at the accomodation. The host was exceptional, he showed us around the whole location and we were invited to try the best coffee for free. Also he knows English very well. The terrasse has an amazing view and the food was very delicious. Thank you for everything, we will definitely come back!"

Unfortunately two scorpions got into the flat and we were not sure how. Fridge leaked water. Other than this the flat is really good.

"Complete privacy, it's wonderful! Before our arrival, they turned on the heating and warmed up all the rooms, it was very touching. We were busy during the day so we didn't get to enjoy the beautiful views. The hosts are friendly and at the same time respect privacy, which is very valuable."

I didn't have enough evening light. But we didn't spend much time in the evening, we went to bed early. If you have poor eyesight like me, take care of your glasses.Also, my feet were cold, I didn't bring slippers, if this is important to you, don't repeat my mistakes
