"Shoe dryer 😍 The common area is great although very crowded in the evenings. The kitchen is very well equipped and pretty spacious, so it was actually possible to cook (comfortably) simultaneously with other people. I was positively surprised by the bathrooms and showers - exceptionally clean and cosy. Also, the owner is great - very kind and sweet soul with great tips about Faroe Islands and always ready to help out or just chat."

"Lights went out when I was in the shower - twice. It was a bit difficult to dry wet stuff (clothes, backpacks, etc) because outside it was raining, and it was humid, while the radiators inside didn't work sometimes, and we all had to share it - which was fairly easy to sort out with a bit of consideration and communication."

"Excellent location of the campsite, with an exceptional view of the sea. Quiet and safe place. Clean, well lit and comfortable bathrooms and common rooms. The host, Krjstian, is really an exquisite person who does his best to make you feel immediately at home <3"

"The atmosphere at Giljanes is just fantastic! The common area is big so you can choose to sit alone or enjoy the company of other travelers. There are 3 kitchen facilities, big fridges and lots of stuff, so no problem to cook a meal. The owner is very kind and flexible. He likes to talk and explain about the area."

"Nice campsite near the sea, beautiful view of the fjord. There is a big kitchen area with 3 cooking places, so you can definitely make you meal indoor. All the kitchen ware is available, including spices. Just be careful about cleanliness, not all the guests clean the stuff well after using it. The owner is very nice and helpful."

"It's a bit close to the road, so you can hear cars passing by. The camp is quite small, don't be late, at least with a tent."
