Hotel Føroyar

"Hotel není přímo v centru města, ale dá se tam pohodlně dojít pěšky zhruba za cca 30 minut. Díky tomu je ale zasazen do klidné lokality. Bylo vidět, že pokoj už něco zažil (tak různě poškrábané kousky na lavici, kam se odkládaly věci, na stole nějaké fleky, ale toť vše z negativního dojmu), velmi měkké postele, koupelna čistá, krásný výhled z pokoje. A snídaně... ty byly naprosto dokonalé. Asi jsme nikde neměli lepší. Vajíčka chutnaly jako vajíčka, když jste přišli hned na sedmou ráno, tak ještě teplé pečivo, vše velmi, velmi dobré."

"Krásný, nový pokoj. Veliký výběr snídaně. Byli jsme velmi mile překvapeni, až nás mrzelo, že jsme tam měli jen jednu noc."

"Velmi pěkný a moderní hotel, citlivě zasazený do krásné přírody. Velké parkoviště, prostorná vstupní hala s recepcí, nádherný výhled z pokoje. Čisto, ticho, ochotný personál, pravidelný úklid obden plně dostačoval. Lednice, kávovar a konvice na pokoji. Snídaně velmi chutné, jako bonus nádherný výhled z jídelny na město a přístav, u snídaně si vybrat mohl každý."

"I liked the look of it, blending in with the surrounding hill. I liked the modern concrete surfaces inside and the clean feel. The breakfast was very good even though they ran out of oat milk."

"Even though I knew it was a little out of the town, I hadn’t realised it was up a long steep hill from town. It took 20 minutes to get there but longer coming back. This meant I couldn’t easily hop on a bus or ferry. Also, even though I was told my single room was in another building, it hadn’t dawned on me how far away it would be, and that this could necessitate coming to breakfast in rain gear and waterproof boots. In case it rain as I walked back..I hadn’t realised I would not be facing the sea as in the front buildings. If you have a car, these things would be no problem and the room itself was cosy and comfortable."
