"Perfect old country inn, lots of character. Room was comfortable and newly updated to high standard. King sized bed and comfortable mattress. Lovely hearing the dawn chorus in the morning. Good food - had a great pasty."

"I had a nice quiet room in the converted building alongside the pub. Nice glimpse of village street, comfy bed."
"Shame that cutbacks meant the kitchen closed at 8 so I couldn’t enjoy a pub supper after the work that took me there. Pity, too, that there was no longer cooked breakfast on offer."
"Great little pub stay and experience in a small town. Comfy bed, great size room. The bathroom was clean and looked as it was in pictures. The pub was great for food and the staff were super helpful."

"Cosy place, friendly staff. They paid attention to little details like having a French press and ground coffee in the room to make a nice brew instead of the instant powders! Also provided multiple different types of tea. Small things like these make such a big difference!"

"Small and cozy room but a great price just for me and the small support dog I have. Given the dates - the published hours weren’t correct on booking.com but they were more than helpful and came to meet me to let me in."

"Great price for the room, dinner plates and cutlery provided is a great shout."
Chris Blue Boar Inn
"Plná anglická snídaně byla naprosto výtečná. Celkově byla kuchyně delikátní a všechna jídla byla velmi chutná a bohatá. Personál byl velmi ochotný a vždy se snažil vyjít vstříc. V podstatě jsem si připadal jako u někoho na návštěvě, protože je hotel veden rodinným přístupem k hostům. Tiché místo v malebném údolíčku, nabádající k relaxaci a odpočinku."

"My partner and I had a lovely stay at this stylish bed & breakfast.. the property is beautifully decorated, with stunning furniture and decor in the common areas and in the bedrooms.. our suite was spotless, very spacious and quiet, despite the position along the main road. Breakfast was lovely and home made, with a good variety, and served in a room facing a stunning garden with a pond.. it was very relaxing"
