"The host was very helpfull and friendly. The accomodation warm and cosy. And super clean! They provided loundry service for a fair Price. We could leave our backpacks when we went on the acantenango tour. And the cherry on top was the cute kitten running around :)"

"Positives - clean, comfortable space, good beds, good water pressure and hot water (with good bathroom products), tasty breakfast, responsive, and nice decor (paintings, garden). Location is about 10 minute walk from the center."

"It wasn't clear what was shared space and what wasn't. It felt like the host was hovering over us at points and gave the feel of a room in an Airbnb rather than a hotel/hostal. The host got quite frustrated at the idea of tea/coffee outside of breakfast hours, which is really odd (especially as we had our own tea bags and only needed hot water..), and even followed me outside the room one time. Everywhere else we stayed had bottled water and tea/coffee facilities, but not here. We asked and weren't told yes or no for what the facilities were. Very strange behavior as otherwise it would be a great place, but the host being odd actually put us off"

"Beautifully thought-out, the room was immaculate and the roof top terrace with all of the foliage was stunning."

"Everything was very good. Location was far enough away to be calm and quiet but close enough to walk to the old town, great restaurants, shopping etc. The staff were exceptional. The room was large, bathroom as well, it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Great roof terrace and direct views to volcan Acatenango and Fuego."
