"Although a 30-40 minute bus ride from Chania town, Summer Lodge is a Fantastic place if you want to be away from the busy places. A peaceful and pretty hotel with a Lovely vibe...There are places nearby to get food and drink and the mostly deserted beach is just a few minutes walk away. The bus stops are close by also - So nothing was ever too much effort. The owners of the property were kind, chatty and helpful. And last but not least the two cats at the hotel were a Joy to be around !! If I get the chance to go back to Chania I would definitely stay at this hotel again !9"

Being near the main road, although handy can be a bit noisy at times but it never bothered me too much. The individual refrigerator in the room was very noisy and I did wake up to it a couple of times.

"The staff was very friendly, helpful & efficient Lots of good places to eat, supermarket with imported goods & sundry shops all at walking distance There's a mini refrigerator, ironing board & washing machine for such a good price!"

The only drawback was the heater kept switching off & I had to get the staff to turn it on a few times

"Rooms are spread over several terraces with lots of flowers. We were on the top and had a great view. Being at elevation, it's nice and cool at night. No fans needed. Great new showers with good hot water. They have a pump system through which there is still water when the power is out. A generator is turned on if there is a power cut in the morning or evening. The restaurant is very good. During lunch it is particularly well visited. For breakfast and dinner it's primarily hotel guests. Great breakfast with lots of fruits and good bread. Dinner was a daily changing dish by a daily rotating local chef. Large parking lot. Nearby attractions are Monte Café and Cascata de São Nicolau."

We arrived right on the day of a big storm which primarily hit the highlands. For the next few days CST, the telephone company, was everywhere fixing lines. There was no wifi for the whole two days we were at the hotel. It is possible that this was a consequence of the storm. We made it work with mobile data. The hotel sells credits if you have a CST Sim card.

Intermittent electricity due to poor infrastructure in Mount Hagen. The room is outside off a veranda so when it rains and the wind blows you might also get wet when going inside to use the toilet. I would have preferred a firmer mattress and slightly larger room.

"This is the best place where you can stay! It's clean and comfortable and maybe not in the very center town but you meet a very nice , friendly and lovely family. In Italy we say "you find a friend, you find a treasure", this is what you're going to live."

"Krásné místo kousek od Petry (pokud jedete autem). Cenově velmi příjemné, majitel velice vstřícný a pohodový. Měli jsme nádherný výhled na Wadi Musa. Dá se doporučit. Balíček pro výlet do Petry byl fajn."

Pokud jste dva a více dní, tak je jednotvárná snídaně, bez většího nápadu.

Hodilo by se více možností na pověšení a usušení ručníků i plavek.

"Majitelka velice milá, ochotná, poradí kam v okolí na jídlo i výlety.Pokoj čistý,matrace na posteli příliš měkké.Na večeře jsme chodily do restaurace Pasáž kde skvěle vaří a personál byl také ochotný a milý."

Snídaně nejsou bufetové a nejsou přímo v hotelu ale hned v kavárně vedle.Byli jsme zde dvě noci a na snídani vždy jen dva opečené tousty k vajíčkům na všechny způsoby nebo parkům.

"Velmi milí hostitelé, příjemná domácí atmosféra, parkování auta přímo u domu. Několik kočiček v okolí a pejsci na ulicích, blízko do centra, bezpečno."

"Čisto, uklizeno, soukromí. Dobré snídaně, bohatý výběr od slaného po sladké. Milý a příjemný personál. Super velký parkovací plac, měli jsme vozík a vešli jsme se na pohodu. U domu se pohybují roztomilé kočky, které se nechají i pohladit. Psi tam nejsou, což bylo fajn. Neslyšela jsem je štěkat ani v sousedství."

Hlučnější sousedé, co o prázdninách vstávají nějak brzy. 😁 Chyběla mi nabídka večeří, i kdyby jen formou švédského stolu.. Ke snídani bych uvítala ke kávě alternativu rostlinného mléka. Ale to opravdu není nic zásadního.

"Also wäre ich bei Mama zu Besuch, übertrieben viel Frühstück und sehr fürsorglich. Ich bin mit dem Motorrad unterwegs und wurde vor zwei tagen nass und habe mich erkältet. Es gab gleich Medikamente und Tipps! Also wie bei Mama!"

"The owners were right next door and very accomodating. They were very nice people.The apartment was clean and everything was provided. The air conditioner worked well and there was a little outdoor porch with a breeze. There was also a washing machine in the apartment."

Thibaud is rather isolated and buses are few and far between.

I think the aesthetics could be improved. A bit of love into gardening and the outdoor settings for the guests.

Na pokoji byl pouze větrák, chyběla klimatizace, ve sdílené koupelně nefungovala sprcha, musel jsem využít jinou koupelnu.

Bagno molto piccolo. Se si arriva a tarda serata non mi pare ci siano ristoranti dove mangiare (c'è una fast food a 600m ma forse facilmente raggiungibile poichè il vialone delle bancarelle (dove c'è il locale) è chiuso.
