"It was probably the best of the "cheapest" hostels I've ever stayed in. Everything was actually better than I expected: - Room had 4 beds, only one of them was upper. So it was proper beds - There was a window in the room, so it was fresh cool air at night (February). - Towels are provided for free - Queues for the elevator are actually not so bad comparing with block A, for example. In 4 days it was only once when I took the second elevator, all other times I jumped into the very first one. And you can always take the other elevator and walk 1 floor down the stairs, no problem at all. A few times I also walked down the whole 10 floors, not a big deal. - Location is perfect, walking distance from two subway lines, to supermarkets, to the harbor etc - Chungking Mansions atmosphere is priceless."

"Beautiful location. The bit about the stairs is true but if you can get past it, fantastic. It is far from Hong Kong Island so there is that, but beautiful views of Kowloon and the bridge. Easy connections to the airport, get off at Mei Foo even if google maps tells you otherwise. Staff were very kind and helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable and quiet. The overall Jao Tsung I academy is also interesting and always has stuff going on. Would stay here again."
