"We loved how communicative, accommodating, and friendly Harry and Chloe were right from the outset. The lodge itself was perfect for us and accommodated our diverse party of 6 quite easily. We loved the decor and the comfortable feel of the place. We loved the big window and amazing view in the mornings and coffees on the veranda (love a veranda!). We loved the friendly farm dog that welcomed us on arrival. We loved the kitchen as a place to hang out or the living room. Having different "zones" was great for different activities/needs. We loved that it felt like a home. I loved the Bauhaus and William Morris prints and the cupboard with the wonky doors. We loved our time here and would definitely come back!"

"The showers were a bit disappointing. The one near the kitchen was a bit dribble, and the one near the living room was all over the show, scalding to freezing. I think user number 4 figured out the eco setting was the most reliable, but sadly, that user wasn't me. Small beer, though, too many good points to stress about the showers. Also, there was a warm invitation to light a fire but no way to prepare kindling to get one going.. We considered leaving you an axe for other guests but thought that might be a weird present... We managed one, but it was a little frustrating. Probably user error, though, as I'm not really used to just using firestarters... this boy scout likes an axe. Thankfully, we were out too much for this to be an actual problem."

"A lovely place to stay in in a beautiful rural location. Reallly peaceful but only a short drive to Kenmare (or proably a 30 minute walk if you are lucky enough to be there when it isn't raining!). Big kitchen and living room with full height windows make it ideal for a family or a group of friends, Good contact and information from hosts (including a call to say that it was ready fro early check-in, which was appreciated). Topped off by a lovely neighbour's dog which made herself very at home with us."

"The water pressure in the showers was fairly weak, so not ideal if you are looking for a power shower. I don't know if that is a regualr thing, but definitely not a deal breaker, and I would very happily go back...in fact my sister wants to nove in permanently!"

"Cozy, stove was great to heat up the house as it was super cold inside! Secure parking and hot tub outside if you wanted to use it. Good facilities however minus points for the showers"

"Sehr große Lodge mit viel Platz. Eine tolle Terrasse und himmlische Ruhe- Natur pur. An Geschirr war alles da, was man brauchte. Und wir hatten jeden Tag nette Gesellschaft von 2 Hunden aus der Nachbarschaft."

"In den Badezimmern gab es keine Steckdosen. Dass der Wasserdruck niedrig sein würde, wussten wir vorher. Die Einstellung des warmen Wassers gestaltete sich etwas schwierig (entweder zu kalt oder zu heiß) Die Schlafzimmer waren für eine Person ok, für 2 Leute wäre etwas sehr eng gewesen ."
