The property is serene, comfortable, and perfectly placed to soak in the magic of the backwaters. Ajish (the host) and his mom were incredibly cooperative and helpful throughout our stay. He arranged both the speed boat and shikara rides at very reasonable rates, making everything seamless and stress-free. The stay itself was super comfortable, clean rooms, calming surroundings, and that constant gentle backwater breeze that makes you slow down without trying. Waking up to still waters and palm reflections? That’s soul luxury. Highly recommended for anyone who wants authentic Kumarakom with genuine warm hospitality."

"We were welcomed with a refreshing drink and shown to our accommodation. Although the room was clean, the sheets were stained, and it is clear from the overall presentation of the property that the general maintenance has been allowed to slip. Unfortunately the in-house restaurant was not available, although excellent food was on-hand nearby on the water front. We were provided with breakfast, however the content was somewhat disappointing; while other guests were presented with sizeable proportions, we were surprised to find our omelette served on a saucer! Notwithstanding the above, the owner’s son deserves special mention for accompanying one of the guests to a nearby hospital, following a self inflicted minor accident."

"Our host and staff were amazing! They looked after us so well. The location is very beautiful and peaceful and the village is really friendly and welcoming. We booked a 2 hr boat tour through our host and to be honest this is the best way to do it, the price was fair and the boat picks you up right at the accommodation."

"There are 2 restaurants up the road the closest one was always empty and the other one has sold out by 4:00 pm however it is excellent for lunch, and closes at 7:00 pm there are no options nearby for your evening meal however you can order a takeaway with the host and he goes and gets it for you, the food was excellent but we weren't aware of this service on arrival I would suggest sending a menu via WhatsApp as soon as guests arrived"

"We had a lovely stay at Backwater Breeze, Kumarakom, with a beautiful view over Vembanad Lake. The location is peaceful and perfect for enjoying nature, especially from the balcony , where the view is simply stunning. The host was genuinely kind and welcoming, always happy to help. He gave us great information about the area and also helped us arrange a boat trip, which made our stay even more special. Breakfast was very good, and we really appreciated the little thoughtful touches — we had access to the fridge, and they kindly provided boiled water whenever we wanted to make a cup of tea during the day."
