"The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were happy to give advise and help out wherever possible. They gave us a room upgrade as there was a nicer room available, and did not charge us for the upgrade. Location of the property was great with all sites being within a 30 minute walking radius. Great roof top restaurant with a view across the whole city. Would love to return one day"

"The stay was comfortable and clean. Smart, friendly, helpful, understanding manager. The area is smartly managed by him and well maintained as well. Terrace is super beautiful for dine in and food taste is very well. Much better than the restaurants. Rates are also very low. Very well managed by Sukhdev Singh. Overall it feels like a very "unique" hotel + restaurant with the best service at the lowest price."

"this property was welcoming, comfortable and very convenient. close to the train station, great rooftop restaurant and very friendly and helpful staff. we arrived late and the kind gentleman cooked us dinner even though the restaurant was finished. the owner kindly helped us out with our bus tickets as well as gave us some good recommendations. we were able to store our luggage here for a night and our stay was extended seamlessly. great value for money."

"Govind Hotel is less than five minutes' walk from Jodhpur railway station and convenient for most of the city. I was very warmly greeted by the friendly staff and the room was clean and comfortable with hot showers (although the hot water is available only 7-10am). The rooftop restaurant has an excellent menu and is reasonably priced - also serves the best chai masala I have ever drunk (a fair-sized pot too); the restaurant also has great views of the fort."

"On arrival, I asked for a kettle and was told that although they couldn't supply one, if I wanted hot water to make coffee at any time, I could ask for it at reception - I had to leave early on my final morning, so asked for hot water and was given luke-warm water. Also, the hotel is shuttered at night (the shutter is opened around 5am) which, although there is always someone sleeping in reception, makes me wary of safety (in case of fire etc.)"

"Perfect location for an overnight stay in-between connecting trains from Jodhpur. It's a 5 minute walk from the station and they WhatsApp you prior to arrival with clear instructions on how to get to the property. The staff were kind and accommodating, allowing us to pre order breakfast ahead of an early departure the following morning."

"Probably not the best location for exploring Jodhpur or it's fort, but we had already visited the city a week before and stayed closer to the old town so this was fine for one night."
