"A very nice hotel in the city center, close to the palace and other popular places. A spacious and clean room with a comfortable bed. Even though it’s on a busy street, it’s quiet inside. Very friendly staff, with an unplanned early check‑in for an extra fee, but at least we had a place to sleep. The breakfast offer was of good quality. Considering the price, the accommodation exceeded our expectations. I can only recommend it."

"It's an excellent and underrated hotel. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom had adequate supplies. The rooftop restaurant was easily the highlight of our stay. Food was delicious specially the Kadhai Chicken.The hospitality shown by Mr . Suhas was refreshing and he served us quite well.Breakfast spread was Full of nutritious food and various options to choose from. It's a steal at this price. Must stay if you're in mysuru."

"We are Genius Traveller, well-traveled and experienced, so we’re qualified to review hotels 😊 Hotel ROOPA We can recommend Hotel Roopa for solo travelers, but you have to book a higher standard. Hotel lives from groups which are accomodated in Standard Double Room – so better book Luxury Room to feel well and have a silent night. Luxury Room has double size comparing Standard Room, so do the Flat-TV and you’ll get much more comfort - price is reasonable. Bed is comfortable, mattresses are new and stable, we slept well. Luxury room has hot water 24/7. 2 bottles of Filterwater are prepeared in room and it is drinkable, do not worry, we tried it out. Staff are very helpful, immediately available, and even friendlier than usual."

"Don't expect European level of cleanliness. Everything is functional and perfectly fine but we would recommend wearing sandals in the shower."

"The location is hard to beat, within walking distance of the Mysore Palace so you can see the fully lit palace at night. The room was large and quiet, the bed super comfortable and the staff downstairs, in particular Shilpa, the delightful woman at reception, who was a true treasure regarding her knowledge of the city!"
