"We felt right at home during our stay, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Although the house is quite old, they have done their best to make it comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, which made things very convenient. It’s a great option for a short stay, and the location is ideal for aurora hunting."

"We stayed at this hostel for just one night. The staff at the front desk were very welcoming. They showed us all the facilities and explained the details of staying at their hostel. We also learned a few pleasant things about being in Iceland."

The first night, in the blue house, it felt like home: the place is comfortable and well cared for, we were welcomed with a cake, and the room was small but clean and convenient. The bathroom was also a bit small. The second night, however, we stayed in the white house, which was more neglected. Still, it’s an excellent location to see the aurora from Reykjavík."
