"Our family of four found Fosstun Guest House just right for a simple, cozy night in Skogar. It’s very clean, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is sufficient to cook or bake and coffee and tea are provided. It feels like staying in a mother-in-law apartment. The bathroom was surprisingly delightful. It’s small but the space is perfectly used, there is a heated towel bar, and the shower is big for the size of the bathroom. The hostess is sweet and available for questions when you have any. Bonus: view of loads of Icelandic sheep from the kitchen window!"

"A warm place where to rest after a long day exploring. Everything was clean and the bedrooms spacious. You can see Skogafoss directly from the property, amazing view! Inga and her husband live in the apartment nextdoor and are both really kind."

"The toilet is really small and so is the kitchen. Not a problem if you share the place with friends (we were a group of 4, so we had the place all to ourselves). The front door doesn't close, but there aren't many people around so it's completely safe, plus you can lock your bedrooms."
