"Perfect - a lovely place with a great view and everything you could need on vacation. Washmachine & Tumbler are very helpful. Everything is clean. It‘s located in the middle of Húsavík and above a netto."

"A lovely quiet apartment with plenty of space and a wonderful view out to sea. Very well equipped kitchen. Easy access and a handy parking spot right outside. Easy to walk into town."

"The staff at Hotel Hvitserkur are lovely - really friendly and helpful. The manager's partner even helped us to fix our car! I really enjoyed the meal we had there, it was nice to see someone making interesting vegetarian food. I love Icelandic hotels that are in old schools - there's something about the atmosphere and the big spaces that really appeals to me."

"The host was incredibly kind! When I mentioned that I was interested in the Puffin Patrol, they explained how it works and even lent me a box for the pufflings. When we happened to meet in town during the patrol, they kindly showed me how to spot them as well. The hiking course they recommended for puffin watching was absolutely amazing. The facilities were very clean, the bed was spacious and comfortable, and the location was very convenient!"

"We had such a wonderful stay at Hengifosslodge. From the moment we arrived, we immediately felt relaxed, surrounded by the peaceful forest. Communication with the owners was smooth, friendly, and very pleasant. The tiny houses are beautifully maintained and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need. The fireplace added a warm, cozy touch, the shower was excellent, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The location is simply stunning, just minutes away from Hengifoss, with a beautiful view of the lake. We were even lucky enough to see the Aurora above the house, which made our stay truly magical. An unforgettable experience that you really have to see for yourself."

"Everything was perfect from start to finish. It was a nice hide-out near the city center. It was nice and quiet and everything we needed was available. Edda was an incredible host and knew exactly what we needed. We loved all the books and especially the bathroom! Having laundry facilities was an absolute bonus, because coming home after our stay meant I didn't have to do any laundry, so we could enjoy our holiday feeling a bit longer. Thanks Edda!"
