"The house is isolated (something good if you’re interested on seeing the Aurora), but still, close to Blönduós. The house was fully equipped , we felt comfortable, like in our own home. I definitely recommend this place."

"It would have been nice to also have a double bed option rather than only single beds. But on the other side this allows for bigger groups to be able to stay here as well. We just moved 2 single beds together, that also worked."

"Beds were little- but this is clear in listing. Filling the hot tub took about an hour- but I am also just impatiently waiting to climb in. We arrived late in the dark and every light was off so it was a little tricky to locate. GPS took us right to the gate."

"Very private. Perfect location for Northern lights spotting, especially from the hot pot(tub) and deck. Very picturesque with gorgeous views from every window. Just out of town, well equipped kitchen. Quick communication responses from very welcoming hosts, who dropped by to check all was well, after I'd messaged looking for the hotpot plug, which they had replied to with the answer. Cosy, Icelandic decor just added a great vibe to the stay. Comfortable and charming, thank you."

"We spent a night here on our journey to Snaefellsnes, and we couldn't be more pleased with our choice. The small, cozy cabin features 3 bedrooms. While there wasn't much room for our luggage, the welcoming atmosphere was what truly mattered. It had a homey vibe, offering us privacy and a sense of serenity. With the chilly weather outside, the cabin felt clean and warm. Thank you for hosting us in your beautiful space, what's more, there's a private hot tub right outside the door step!!!! :))"

"This rustic cottage was a few kilometres out of Blonduos, just off the main road. It was easy to find and very private. The location was picturesque and convenient for an overnight stay. The rooms were small and cosy with very comfortable furniture. The kitchen was also small but well-equipped. We had a very pleasant stay."

"All six beds were singles! We would have preferred one of the 3 bedrooms to have a double bed."
