"Great place for our family of four in akureyri. Very close to the pool, which our kids loved! It was as described.(The house and furnishings are a bit older of a style but it is as pictured and it worked well for us). To be clear (and this worked fine for us, not a critique!): There are 2 private bedrooms with double beds, plus one single bed in a non-private living room area (separate from but visible from the main living room). We loved having so much space, separate bedrooms, ability to cook in the well equipped kitchen, and to do some laundry for a reasonable price!"

"I saw other reviews that the main bedroom has an overly soft mattress and I can concur that this is the case! Not a dealbreaker for us but it was noticeable."

"This was at the top of the best facilities where we stayed in Iceland. It was nice to be in a home environment in the middle of a long trip. There were three bedrooms, a real living room, a wonderful full kitchen, a great bathroom, and best of all, a washer and dryer. It is on the ground floor in a great area of nicer homes and felt very safe. Conveniently located for shopping and restaurants. We would stay here again for sure!"
