"Cabin on a farm next to horse paddocks. Loved looking out over the fields to the horses! There were over half a dozen foals and lovely to watch them gambling so close to the cabin. Very quiet, no traffic or people noise, only the sounds of birds, horses and the wind. Kitchenette well equipped with coffee maker and condiments, cooked a few breakfasts and dinners including a BBQ dinner on the third night we were there. Bathroom was modern and roomy. Krissa was a wonderful host, thank you for making our stay enjoyable! Excellent location to base ourselves for visits to Thingvellir NP, Vestmannaeyjar and Hveragerði for hot springs and horse riding."

"Being in fields in the south near rivers and delta there were a few insects flying around. The small windows above the kitchenette and in the bathroom don't have a curtain so the room had some light coming in overnight for a June stay. Cabin a bit small for two people and would be very tight for more. No real problems for us, we enjoyed our stay!"

It’s a small space, but well equipped with everything you need (fridge, microwave, stove, coffee/tea, condiments, etc.). Host was very friendly and responsive, and plenty of instructions to help us out."

"The property was clean, well-stocked and quiet. The hostess was quite helpful. The view in the morning was too good with a small river flowing and horses lazing around in distance. The kitchen had all one could need for a short stay and microwave was a big plus (rarely found in Iceland holiday rentals)."

"The property was perfect except for one thing - the route to reach the property. PLEASE DO NOT FOLLOW APPLE MAPS TO REACH THIS PLACE ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT. USE ONLY GOOGLE MAPS. Unfortunately we used Apple Maps and it took us via a route of around 15min that is not even meant for cars. It was raining and we nearly got stuck in mud. On our arrival, the hostess informed us of this error of Apple Maps, but it was too late by then. There is a much safer and quicker way via the main road that is shown as ‘closed’ as per Apple Maps but it is actually quite operational."

"The accommodation is outside the city so it is nice to be able to spot the aurora. We we managed to see it."

"The entrance door was broken so it was a little chilly regardless of heating. The lady of the apartment brought extra blankets to put under the door to prevent the cold air to enter. There was a strong wind with snow."

"A beautiful apartment not far from Road 1, very quiet and secluded, even though it is near a farm area. We arrived in the dark and had some difficulty identifying our apartment, but the owners were very kind and helpful in guiding us. The room was tidy, clean, and well-equipped. We had some problemas with the lock which was very hard to close. We slept in the most comfortable beds we've ever experienced in our lives!"

"First of all, it was fantastic! The owners are really super nice and everything was uncomplicated! One of my best and most relaxed stays I've ever had! The apartment is very good, clean and there is everything you need! Great kitchen, great bathroom and good beds. It is the best base for wonderful trips the west and south and because it's a bit off the main roads, it's wonderfully quiet! At this point, thank you again and I will definitely come back!"

"Stayed in a small but cosy and clean apartment with a nice outdoor area and great views over the fields with horses. Good communication from the owner with instructions on access."

"The main door to the property was almost impossible to lock. When I did lock it I couldn’t unlock it without a lot of effort, so in the end left it unlocked overnight. Having to roll down six or seven narrow individual roller blinds is a bit of a faff and the cord of one of them snapped off."
