"We loved staying at Tangs and were rather reluctant to leave this lovely and cosy apartment. It is located in the heart of Ísafjörður which allowed us to explore the town by foot. The property is spacious with all essential amenities needed (and more) and has been refurbished to reflect the history of this traditional house. It was quirky, fun and very cosy. The hosts were very friendly and helpful."

"A very nice and spacious apartment, centrally located in Isafjördur. All rooms are beautifully decorated and make you feel at home immediately. Even the fridge was filled with wine, beer and soda - the latter free of charge."

"The property was clean and inviting, all the wood cladding was just so beautiful. It was like a winter Lodge and with the snow outside it was really coming and wonderful. There is a secret bathroom behind a door which is a photo and that was very entertaining."

"As an old-fashioned person, I think the hotel would benefit from a broom and shovel, but that is such a minor thing that it’s barely worth mentioning."

"Excellent location in a quiet corner of Ísafjörður. The Westfjords is one of our favourite places in Iceland and it's a shame we only stayed for 2 nights. The house has a rich history, although we were very much surprised by the eclectic theme of the house. It feels wonderful to be greeted by towering cliffs after stepping out of the house. The kitchen is very well-equipped and the nearby supermarkets are a great convenience. The apartment is warm and cosy. Bedrooms are comfortable."

"Lighting is dim, which seems to be pretty common in the Nordic. It is a minor inconvenience that doesn't really justify a complaint."
