"I am going to start this by saying that Peter and Joy are amazing host and such lovely people. The home felt like a family home from another era with amazing wood work, high ceilings, large rooms and Arts work downstairs. I felt like I was in a movie. Joys breakfast was divine, expectational, healthy and very Jamaican every morning. She took in account my dietary requirements and even cooke due a different meal when she had other quest during my stay. I felt well looked after and cared for. The house is located very close the Hellshire beach although I didn't visit as I have been there several times. I was there during the hurricane and I felt very safe."

"Although it was clean I am quite OCD and felt that the property could have done with a deep cleans as the rugs are beautiful but looked very worn. There was also dust found under some furniture when I laid on the floor to stretch or workout. The property is also in need of a generator for when the power goes although Peter and joy was very accommodating and had ways around it a working generator is advised That and I card machine at the property to make payment more efficient."

"Breakfast was excellent...my husband and I really enjoyed it and BIG UP to her servers, they always have a smile on their face. Big up to Ms Joy who made our stayed their very comfortable and pleasant...love our chats! Definitely will be staying their again."

"The owners were so welcoming and accommodating to all my needs. The Wife, Joy she prepared breakfast for me although it was not necessary as I was leaving so early in the morning 7am and I appreciate her so much for that...GOOD CHEF.. Everything was great and I will definitely be back.."

"The room was spacious and they had plenty of towels. The pool was clean and area very secluded. The shower was refreshing with good pressure. Hostess was very nice. AC in room was excellent. The balcony was small but adequate and gave us some great views."

"Wish there had been a menu for breakfast or some fruit offered. Everything was fried or had fish in it. I can't eat fried foods and my husband doesn't care for fish. We felt awful that the hostess made us food that we didn't eat."

"The beauty of the property, overlooking the city lights at night, is an absolutely treasure, I couldn’t have asked for better scenery express!! The vintage and rustic furniture made you feel like you stepped back into Victorian time, I absolutely loved everything about it!! I was taken aback every time I stepped into the living area. The owners Mr. P and Ms. Joyce were the most genuine, amazing hostesses I could have asked for, they always made me laugh, sharing some their life experiences, they made me feel at home, and they were very accommodating to my request."

"It was very quiet, at times I felt like it was just me experiencing this stay, but I guess that is just first time jitters, from staying in a new place. I would recommend renting a vehicle , if you want to visit any of the historic buildings and beaches, as tourists or factor in tours before booking your stay."

"Joy and Peter treated me like royalty, they went above and beyond to try to make my stay comfortable and to meet my needs. I travel alone so it is important to feel safe and I felt very safe and protected with them. Joy is a great chef and the meals were delicious. Peter is former military, as am I so it was fun to share those memories. It was a short stay but I felt like they are family and I miss them, I'm looking forward to seeing them again soon!"
