"It is a lovely bungalow with its own private front area - including car park space. Very close to TRM (Thika Road Mall) that has many good restaurants and shops. Owner is very helpful - and goes out of the way to ensure that your stay is as good as can be. Very clear instructions on how to use what is available. Very high level of security - gate locked all the time and guarded at night (including dogs in the area between the bungalow private space and gate)"

"What I didn't like and it ruined my trip is the. exceptional security (that might be ok for many). Other than calling owner, there is no way to contact guard to open gate for visitors or even to escort the guest to gate late at night ... No phone or buzzer for guard ... All contact via owner and that worked fine other than when owner is sleeping. In that case you are "jailed" ... No one can come to you and you can't go out (even if there is medical emergency) ... The only option is to take on security guard dogs. But as I said ... for many this is a good feature of excellent security. To me, I felt jailed at night."
