Lonely Beach

"Lonely Beach je velice unikátní místo. Více než o vybavení bungalovu, je to o lidech, kteří se tady potkávají a o lokalitě, která je naprosto výjimečná. Doporučuji si před příjezdem pečlivě přečíst popis ubytování a recenze, aby jste věděli, do čeho jdete. Pokud to s vámi rezonuje, neváhejte a přijeďte. Rozhodně to za tu trochu nepohodlí stojí. Bydleli jsme v dalších lokalitách na ostrově Koh Rong a Koh Rong Samloem v ubytování s klimatizací, teplou vodou, WiFi, bazénem a pěknou pláží a přesto jsme Lonely Beach, spolu s našimi 10ti letými dětmi, vyhodnotili jako nejlepší místo."

"Nothing if you manage your expectations right: if you can live without a water flush, electricity in your room and almost no internet for a couple of days, and can accept having some animals once in a while in your hut, this is your place to enjoy basic life again!"

"The beach is absolutely incredible. It can get busy but there’s always a sense of privacy. You can hire cheap snorkelling equipment and there’s amazing bioluminescence right at the shore."

"The bungalows are decent but do get very sandy and I had quite a few ants in my bed, which was fine but got a bit frustrating after 3 nights as it all just piles up. The shower and bathroom situation (no running water) borders on the side of charming at the beginning but on my third day, I got a stomachache and then ended up being ill for quite a while after this stay. The food in the restaurant gets very repetitive (and is a bit overpriced) and the service can get really slow because so many people eat here. I enjoyed our stay and think the staff do their absolute best but all these things can start to weigh on you when you get ill from the water."

"Location was gorgeous, an unspoilt and quiet beach - a rare find these days, very natural setting, communal area was great, being able to see the bioluminescence was amazing, food was delicious, staff were great."

"Wasn’t too much of an issue for us but as you should expect when in nature, it can join you…had a few bats in our room one night, made for an exciting evening with reduced sleep but if you don’t like the thought of that this may not be your place."
