"I had a great stay in Gipson Guesthouse. The room was remarkably clean and the host was very attentive. You should know before coming that the mattress is very hard, but if you don't mind that you will enjoy your stay. the location is not ideal and requires taking the bus to go to town and the park."

"It was only a short visit for me as I was visiting the national park (great location to do so) the owner was so helpful and gave me step by step how to get there. The guesthouse was clean and comfortable and had all the necessary facilities in the kitchen and bathroom. It was a quiet relaxing get away and had everything you need. The owner even went above and beyond - I had to get a bus early the next morning back to Seoul and the owner kindly drove me to the station. Highly reccomend staying here! Overall great experience"

"The property was a bit far away from the city and the park. If you have a car it's not problem, but if you don't you might have to rent a bicycle or get a taxi to go around the place. Other than that I would definitely stay again!"

"A lot of reviews say the location is a downside. If your prepared and bring enough groceries this should not be a problem. Taxi to and from the city is around 12.000 won/15 minutes and the national park the same, so it’s not too bad!! I looked at the other guesthouses around the area and most of it its the same story, so this was for me the best option and I am not dissapointed!"

"Das Gasthaus ist ein Nebengebäude des Wohnhauses und ist sehr nett eingerichtet. Das Frauenschlafzimmer mit zwei Stockbetten und und eigenem Bad war komfortabel groß. Die Betten sind traditionell koreanisch. Also sehr breit aber hart. Man darf nicht die übliche Matratze erwarten. In der Mitte des Hauses ist eine große gut ausgestattete Küche. Der Betreiber ist ein sehr netter Mann, der etwas Englisch spricht. Man kann ihn jederzeit alles fragen. Die Dachterrasse ist der hit! Die Aussicht auf den Soeraksan Nationalpark ist super. In der Nähe (5 min. zu Fuß) ist ein kleiner Supermarkt. Cafe und Restaurants etwas weiter zu laufen. (Hab ich nicht ausprobiert.)"

"Die Lage ist weiter außerhalb. Ich fand es prima, aber das muss man wissen. Der Bus fährt nicht so häufig. Taxi kostet ca. 10.000-14.000 Won bis in die Stadt. Der letzte Bus aus der Stadt zurück fährt 7.30 p.m."
