"Pokoj byl velký akorát. Teplá voda nebyla na začátku února ani potřeba. K dispozici je také terasa na sušení prádla. Dům je blízko koleji, ale na vlaky si člověk zvykne, případně je dobré mít s sebou špunty do uší. K snídani vajíčka, toustový chléb a ovoce. Personal je velmi ochotný. Platba pouze v hotovosti, ale lze platit v eurech nebo dolarech."

"Pretty close to the train tracks which is a bit disturbing as they toot their horn. But after 11 we only heard one at 2ish and one at 5ish, before they started again for the day. But with earplugs it’s ok. Sadly the hot water didn’t work either but it was a huge bathroom and very nice otherwise"

"Yeah, trainspotting deluxe 😜 for one / two nights it's okay 🤙🏽 if you need a calm and relaxing spot choose another one 🙃 but if was okay with the trains! The rooms are spacious and nice! Also the host are really kind 🤗 walk distance to turtle beach 🤙🏽"

"Staff were lovely, very welcoming and accomodating. They also told us some restaurants nearby to avoid as other guests had got food poisoning from them so this advice was much appreciated. Room was very clean and had everything you need. The trains don’t seem to go between 9pm - 4am so there isn’t too much noise overnight. Very good value motel for the price"

"Service was outstanding. Tamara, Devindi and Nipun are just amazing hosts. Their friendliness is incomparable and they ‘ll move the world to make you as comfortable as possible!(example: Nipun drove me to yala at two o’clock in the morning with only a few hours of sleep since they just had their second kid, waited four hours and drove me back) Thanks guys. You are awesome!!!"

"Good price. The people who ran it seemed very kind and were very welcoming.. The location is just opposite the beach. Fantastic. Tha place was very clean. The bus and train station are nearby, and buses stop along the main street, heading to Galle."

"I liked the place, but it's important to know that as you are so close to the railway tracks, the trains do go racing past every couple of hours. Some of the early evening ones rattle the windows. You do get used to it."

"Thos beautiful place is run by a beautiful family, and they can't do enough to help! The rooms are a good size and great value. My room had A/C, hot water and a mini fridge which is invaluable! It's one minute's walk to the beach and is really well located for beach bars/restaurants/banks and shops. They offer tours and airport transfers also. I understand that they do amazing food, although I didn't get chance to try."

"Although it's a haven of peace there is the main rail line directly behind the property, but the trains are infrequent and it really isn't a problem."
