Chaty v Nové Kaledonii

"We spent a few days in spacious bungalows. We were picked up by taxi from the airport and quickly arrived at our accommodation, where Cynthia was waiting for us. Cynthia provided us with detailed information about the property (water, safety, etc.) and shared interesting facts about the area (shops, restaurants, and the beach). The bungalows have a well-equipped kitchenette and a large terrace, from which we could admire the starry sky in the evenings. In the morning, we were served a delicious breakfast, including homemade yogurt and jam. The morning conversations with Cynthia during breakfast were wonderful. The guesthouse also offered free rental of easy-to-use bicycles. We have fond memories of our lazy days on the atoll, and we highly recommend this guesthouse."

The guesthouse is no longer the newest, but that's why it has its own atmosphere.

"Located exactly on the mountain, with exceptional views. Facilities were clean, comfortable and well heated. Staff were very helpful to transfer us to the hotel when we arrived, as the car park was a bit far from the hotel. They also treated us exceptionally well, and were always ready to accommodate us with our needs. Food and drinks were also really good. All in all 10/10 stay"

"Ubytovani jednoduche, ale to k tomu patri kdyz jdete do pouste. Postel pohodlna, wc i koupelny spolecne, ale hezky udrzovane a ciste Vyborna snidane, ktera predcila ocekavani, mily personal no a velbloudy :)"

Would have been nice if pool had been heated - a bit cool in the late afternoon for a swim. Recognize this would differ seasonally.

"In general all were super. My family and I spent a good time in this fabulous place!"

1. There was no Iron in the room (it is written in the room facilities) 2. Noisy neighbours (they celebrated birthday and used equipment for loud music and jumped in the pool)

"Nice forest hut on the edge of a forest - 10 min to a beach by foot. You are really almost in the middle of nature here. The forest was full of blackberries when we were there. The kitchenette corner is smallish but sufficient to make a meal for a family of four."

It may be a bit challenging to find the right road leading to the house, but we managed. Go past the road leading to the two storey apartment houses, and turn to the left of the warehouse-like structure which is further on the road.

"Great location and the scenery was beautiful. Very nice and peaceful atmosphere. Located on hill tops and the views were amazing! Perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature. Surrounded by trees and was entertained by monkeys swinging through the branches. The rooms were also very spacious and allowed a comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient and meals were delivered to the room. Staff were very accommodating and overall had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay."

"Best location ever! So close to the ocean you can walk straight to it at 5 AM for a morning swim. Great swimming pool, and the Green Turtle restaurant was awesome."

"It was quirky and a lovely cosy space to base ourselves. Very close to the airport and next to the harbour in the town. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The loft bed was something different too and cosy and comfortable. The owner was great and friendly. We had absolutely no issues and hope to go again someday."

"Moderní a elegantní ubytování, nachází se hned vedle jezera kde je tmavá obloha - ideální pro pozorování polárních září. Klimatizace na pokoji, která zároveň funguje jako topení v zimě je také fajn."

Na jednu či dvě noci je to ideální ubytování v poměru cena/ výkon. Ale od tří více už bych si připlatil za nějaký apartmán. Studio je poměrně malé a postrádá úložné prostory - žádné skříně, poličky, apod. Do koupelny je přímo do sprchy a sauny vidět skrze okénko z ulice. Nejsou tam žádné žaluzie - je potřeba si tam nějak kreativně upevnit ručník, když nechcete být vidět. Také odvětrávání koupelny není dobré - okno nejde otevřít a tak voda z otevřeného sprchového koutu bez dveří jen pomalu vysychá. Co mě po druhé noci začalo mimořádně vadit je větrání v pokoji - v intervalech cca 2 minuty se zapíná, následně na minutu vypne a opět zapne. V noci když je ticho to je dost rušivé - ať to buďto běží pořád, nebo to jde nastavit, ale nenašli jsme možnost to vypnout. Vypínače světel fungovali na občasné bázi. Asi nejsou správně seřízené obvody. Někdy fungoval jeden, jindy všechny, jindy zase ten, který nefungoval nikdy... ale to je oproti předchozím výtkám spíše detail.

"Exceptional environment, well-kept, among the trees, calm, peaceful. The cottages are built in such a way that they have a pleasant temperature without air conditioning or fans. At night, for the first time in Gambia, I had to cover myself with a duvet. The owner and staff were extremely kind, accommodating, unobtrusive."

"Beautiful place. We stayed with family in three different rooms. Beautiful views, spacious and clean rooms. The ladies that clean the hotel were very nice. We got there early, left our things in a locker and went to flamenco beach and returned to access our rooms by a door code. The room was amazing with a small kitchen with kitchen utensils, towels and beach towels. The rooms had great air conditioner and there was a constant breeze outside that we could enjoy the balcony as well. I think the room Was even more spacious than the website pictures. ☺️"

"L’accueil était formidable ! Attendez bien qu’elle vous envoie les bonnes directions par ce que sur booking ce n’est pas clair ! La maison est super mignon , très bien placé ( au calme ) et bien décorée. Moi je suis hollandaise donc je n’avais pas de problème avec l’escalier hyper pentu et les marches très étroite !"

Malheureusement été déçus par le jacuzzi qui ne fonctionnait pas. C'est le point qui nous a le plus dérangés et qui a gâché le séjour car j'ai payé un supplément pour profiter de cette option avec mes enfants cela devait être une surprise. Je tiens tout de même à remercier le membre du personnel qui a tenté de faire une réparation. Malgré ses efforts et sa bonne volonté, le problème n'a pas pu être résolu. C'est dommage de ne pas avoir pu en profiter durant notre séjour.

"Beautiful place next to a river and the mangrove bushes. The lady at the service desk speaks very good English. That’s was very helpful. The excursion to the monkeys was very fun and the boat tour was beautiful!"

"Jednoduchá chatka, kterou někdo zařizoval s velkým přehledem. Nechybí ramínka, poličky na věci, jednoduchá kuchyň. Naprosto úžasný výhled z okna."

asi by stálo za to vyměnit koberec nebo příště tam dát dlažbu, aby se lépe uklízelo.
