Maison Bahija

"Skvělá lokalita, z terasy nádherný výhled na medinu a město. Podle předchozích recenzí jsme se připravili na mnohem větší výšlap, ale cesta byla v pohodě i s krosnama na zádech :). Přivítala nás milá paní majitelka, udělala nám čaj pozdě večer. Apartmán byl čistý a útulný."

"Koupelna byla trochu malá, bylo obtížné používat umyvadlo a při vstávání ze záchodu hrozí úder do hlavy. Každopádně to není nic, co by ovlivnilo hodnocení ubytování, jen upozornění pro vyšší lidi."

"The town and mountains views from the balcony and rooftop are fantastic. Bahija is an excellent host, welcoming with tea and always available if you need anything. We stayed for five days, during record hot weather, and she very kindly let us move into a larger, slightly cooler, apartment for three days, for the same price. There is no air-con, but there are fans. It is an original building, in the old part of town, so you get the full locals' living experience. It's a 3-5 minute walk from the top car park, which attendants are also very friendly and helpful. It's only two minutes down to shops and markets."

"You’re staying in a traditional Moroccan house with a fantastic location in the medina of Chefchaouen. Don’t expect luxury—this wouldn’t be fitting in such a setting anyway. There’s a warm shower and a small kitchen with a gas stove and fridge. The owner is very friendly but doesn’t speak English (she does speak French). Again, it’s not a luxurious stay, but the location is excellent and the atmosphere is authentically traditional. …..and a lovely rooftop!!!"

"Our host has been the most helpful, friendly and welcoming person that we have experienced on our trip to Morocco! Helped us when we got lost finding the place (our own fault) despite the language barrier, made us Moroccan tea as we arrived and has been so lovely to interact with. You would be staying in a traditional blue town house at the top of the medina with a beautiful view of Chefchaouene! This place is amazing value for money, we definitely recommend!!"

"Breakfast was not included, but we had a small kitchen and the apartment is close to lots of cafes ... we ate out for breakfast and dinner most days, which was easy is the apartment is so well located. We loved the rooftop terrace and views from the top of the town. Apartment was very clean and comfy - bed was super-comfy. Behija was really nice, super-smiley and very easy to deal with, although she doesn't speak much English, so best if you have some French and/or Arabic."

"It could have been a little easier to find the apartment, so I would ask for very clear directions in advance ... the medina is like a maze, especially when you go into it for the first time, with alleyways and steps everywhere - and GPS is not quite 100% accurate (although actually very good) ... and Booking.com gave me the wrong location, which didn't help but was not Behija's fault. We were able to communicate with Behija all the time and did find the right street after a short search, with a little help from the friendly locals :)"
