"Od první chvíle jsme se zde cítili naprosto skvěle. Ocenili jsem profesionální a laskavý přístup manažerky, která nám podala vyčerpávající informace o ubytování i o možných aktivitách na ostrově a po celou dobu našeho pobytu se o nás perfektně starala. Měli jsme stylový, dobře vybavený, prostorný bungalov doslova pár kroků od moře. Hotel nabízí půjčení kajaků zdarma, takže při příznivém počasí můžete podniknout výlet kolem ostrova. Jídlo i služby v hotelu jsou na vysoké úrovni a personál přátelský. Využila jsem masáž a byla velmi příjemná a za dobrou cenu. V blízkosti hotelu se nachází restaurace Fafana, kterou můžeme doporučit - majitel si rád popovídá a jídlo je zde naprosto vynikající. Ostrov jsme prochodili doslova křížem krážem a prohlédli jsme si i jiné možnosti ubytování, ale Aurora lodge se nám líbila nejvíce. Pokud máte rádi pizu, navštivte pizza bar Lucky Dube - dělají tam dobrou pizu a když budete mít štěstí, uvidíte tam i lemury."

"Pouze jediná nepříjemné věc, která nám ale nezkazila celkový výborný dojem z pobytu : při placení nás překvapilo, že k platbě v hotovosti v EUR si přičítají 7%. Tak jsme raději zaplatili kartou, kde byla přirážka jenom 3%. S tím jsme se během naší cestě po Madagaskaru nikde jinde nesetkali, všude EUR akceptovali bez problémů, někde je dokonce preferovali. Vezměte si sebou dostatek Ariary v hotovosti."

"We spent 5 nights in beginning of July at Aurora Lodge, and loved every minute of it! Despite the weather being ever changing, it was such an amazing place to be. Karen, the owner, was very welcoming and her staff were very nice and helpful. The bungalow was well equipped, and although simple, had everything you could need. We especially enjoyed the cooking class and visiting the neighboring vanilla plantation, showed to us be the very passionate owner. Also just walking around the island, having lunch at the close by, very relaxed restaurant, Le Fafana (a must visit spot!) and exploring Iles Sainte Marie."

"It was one of the most spectacular places I have ever lodged. Travel there and back again was by a boat, all organized by the lodge. The little huts/rooms are well-kept and given that this place only uses its own photovoltaic electricity, offer all the amenities such a place must have. The food was excellent and I can still remember the strolls we took from there all over the island. The personnel was very friendly and the owner gave us a lot of useful hints for our holiday at the island."

"Simply paradise!!! The bungalows are simple but very cozy. The bay is beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the food is just wonderful. A magical and unique place — just like the whole island."

"Depending on your neighbors, you might hear quite a lot through the bungalow walls, but otherwise, it’s very peaceful. Right in front of the lodge, you need to walk far out to swim, but if you head further right along the beautiful beach, you’ll find better spots for swimming."
