"Located in the hustle and bustle of the city, it can be a bit loud at night. But closing the windows really helps and we slept very well. The staff didn't speak English which was sometimes a bit complicated, but they were keen to help. The room was spacious, clean and had all the amenities we could wish for (AC, warm shower, wifi, refrigerator). The restaurant was disappointing and especially the pizza was the most bland we ever ate. Also the breakfast options were few and not great. All in all we still had a comfortable stay here!"

"It was my first in Tana, and finding a very affordable place, I never expected it to be in league of the 7star players, but yes, Zara is excellent, quiet and especially if you have some work to do, its serene. Access to town is easy via taxi, and well, their bone soup and calamar, just super! Thanks team Zara for the excellent hospitality, I will be back, soon!"

"The appart is exactly like on the fotos. It is the upper part of a house with two other appartements. There are little houses around, a little shop right down the road, the market at ten minutes walk and a baby supermarket at 20 min walk. Mahajanga is at 40 to 60 min drive with the bus (600Ar) or a TucTuc (10000Ar). It is very airy, you can see and hear the waves and you are in 5 min at the beach. Also you can walk to the cirque rouge (1 hour, 5000 Ar). Worth it! The host is super active and tries to help you with every thing you wanna have planned (but she is not at the place)! Also there is a lady staying in the other appart who is always willing to help or even to join activities! (Don‘t go to Eco Parc Reniala, it‘s not worth it.)"

"- A very friendly owner - Lovely breakfast - Big and clean rooms When we arrived, there was no water but the owner was prepared and provided enough water. Also a lot of the electricity is solar powered. The house has a lovely atmosphere and we felt good there. The breakfast was wonderful and dinner would've also been possible."
