"Amazing view & wonderful sunrises. The hotel is nice but needs attention. Looking a bit shabby & still suffering from the effects of a hurricane a few years ago. We thought we had booked a cabana as these were the pictures advertised on booking.com but got a room instead. All the cabanas except one, are out of use & look rundown. Booking.com needs to update the information of what rooms are being used. We enjoyed the pool & breakfasts & you can’t beat the location."

"The view of the beach from the hotel was just fantastic, probably the best in Mazunte. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were adequate and comfortable."

"The hotel surroundings need an upgrade. For example the cushions on the terrace were threadbare. The steps down to the beach were full of discarded and broken light bulbs and hotel litter. The food prices were pricey, almost London prices."

"Location location location. Short walk down to the beach via the steps. Bit of a mission if you are heavy or unfit but very doable. A taxi can always take you back up the hill. Room1 is fantastic. The whole set up is tranquil and relaxed."

"The view from the pool, breakfast area and our bedroom balcony was stunning. Our room was big and comfortable, with a great balcony. We hired a scooter for our stay and we could get everywhere we wanted to go within minutes."

"The view is great and the room was quite spacious; AC worked well; breakfast was okay, you were able to pick coffee/tea, fresh fruit or juice, and one item from the breakfast menu"

"Staff speaks no english at all; I had also tried to get in touch before my stay and the hotel didn‘t react to any emails / messages I sent; my shower was desperate for a clean and there was barely any water coming out, when I brought it up with one of the girls, she didn‘t say a word and made me wait with her whilst she was trying to clean the shower head, which was really awkward; cleaning staff never exchanged the towels in 5 days, and one time I returned from breakfast whilst they were in my room and they were just lounging on their phone, and then proceeded to leave without doing any cleaning; no shampoo / shower gel provided, just an undefined liquid in open mini-bottles; the room has kind of a weird layout with a massive space but nothing in it, it feels very empty, no decoration, not even a wardrobe or bedside table; weirdly the hammock was inside (it looks like it‘s outside on the pictures provided) which made it a bit redundant, since I didn‘t want to risk mosquitoes coming in whilst lying with the balcony doors open"
