"Great Staff, Silva was on site always ready to assist but you need your translator app because he does n ot speak English 😉 The accommodation is spacious and clean and well suited for self catering. We picked up some things that were lacking and the management was on it and took care of all uncomfortabilities."
"If you don't have your own transport then its not an ideal location. The nearest part of the lagoon is 20min walk which is Masala Beach. The town area is 30min walk and other parts of the lagoon is even more walking time. A taxi can be called but they over charge you and after four days of stay it adds up 😞. The kitchen were missing some self catering essentials but the management obtained it for us. The kitchen chairs are too short for the counter top table and make an uncomfortable sit. Later on the management informed us that the chairs were meant for the plastic fold up table where guest supposed to eat. The bedrooms only has fans which is inadequate for the heat of the location. The accommodation was advertised as having air-conditioning but only the lounge area had air-conditioning and it was too small for the lounge and kitchen area."

"The accommodation truly ticked all the boxes — cleanliness, location, comfort, facilities, and value for money. Everything was well-maintained, neat, and thoughtfully prepared to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The host went above and beyond, always checking in to ensure we had everything we needed, and the staff were friendly, respectful, and efficient. We really appreciated the warm hospitality and attention to detail. It felt like a home away from home, and we’d definitely love to stay here again!"
"The staff, especially the manager Johnny, were outstanding and always ready to help/assist. Even the amicable owner was reachable and would ensure that guests were well taken care of. We also loved having breakfast while admiring the waves and morning sun. Walking on the beach everyday was a must and the sound of waves was very soothing. Although quite basic, Giraffe is a great place to just chill. Hotel also has a speed-boat and can organize the trip to Bazaruto and other islands."

"Dominique the landlord is super kind and accomplished, the room is clean and large. There is a comfortable king bed, kitchenette area with a mini fridge and kettle, a couch, and an attached bathroom! There is an upstairs terrace with a beautiful view, sun beds, a bench, and seating with tables."
