"Really good location to chill in the hammocks, paddock or just a stroll on the beach. Great mosquito nets on the beds. Nice kitchen to cook your own food, filtered water and a fridge. Small pulperia/super mercado 5 minutes away. Friendly cat Amarillo"

"Would be nice to have a proper door on the bathroom in the dorm (currently just a curtain) but there is a second bathroom outside with a door (normally just for the private rooms)"

"Very well located between the gigante beach and amarillo beach. There is a small kitchen that guests can use. Laura (the host) is very nice and available."

"The big terasse is private, so guests can only use the garden (owner should update the booking.com pictures 2 and 5, because the big terasse that you see is not available). There is not enough chairs to sit at the table if every guests wants to have dinner at the same time."

"It was one of the best places of my whole journey. Rustic but imensely beaytifull spot on the top of tbe hill overlooking playa gigante on o e side and playa amarilla on the other. I loved the quietness the scenery, the atmosphere. Perfect for contemplation, reading, practicing yoga on the deck overlookung the beach, working (i assembled my perfect office sattion up there) and appreciate the sweetness of time. Two stunning beaches just down the hill you can go down for a plunge on your swimwear and back to work."

"Absolutely stunning location, overlooking Playa Amarillo (from a hammock if you wish!!). Amazing host Laura goes out of her way to assist with any questions, making you feel at home. The cleanest hostel I stayed at during my trip, including a great kitchen - and one of my favourite places and stays in Nic. I loved it so much that I returned at the end of my trip!! Highly recommend it :)"

"My highlight of the trip! 😍 If you're looking for paradise, this is definitely the place. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the staff is great. The atmosphere is unique. Everything is very clean and well-maintained. The dorms offer plenty of space. You fall asleep to the sound of the sea and wake up to the sounds of birds and monkeys. What a dream!"

"Casa Medusa is a great spot in El Gigante! The location on top of the hill offers the best views over the beaches and town. The living spaces are super comfortable, the rooms are clean, the kitchen is well stocked and the wifi is super fast. Laura is also the kindest host, she is always around to offer help in any way she can. I really enjoyed my time at Casa Medusa - recommend for everyone coming to El Gigante!"

"Casa Medusa is a very nice little place up on the hill with a fantastic view to both sides. Very friendly and welcoming people. Definitely the right place to chill out. I would go there any time again 👍"

"One of the best hostels I've stayed in so far. Located up on the hill it is the BEST place to experience the most incredible sunsets while having a private 3-minute-walk to the beach, which allows you to go surfing/swimming at any time. On top of that the dorms are super clean as well as all of the facilities. Laura the owner and her Co-Worker Mari are both super warm-hearted people that'll help you at any time. Also Amarillo the Hostel-Cat definitely has a very special place in my heart. Casa Medusa is the first and only spot of my journey to which I returned, which is the best proof of how amazing this place is. So if you're searching for a cozy accommodation to relax, explore and/or surf, this is your spot!"
