"Such a nice, chill place with excellent value for money. It’s peaceful and relaxing, well located in town, and has a delicious breakfast (different every morning!). Omar is super kind and helpful. Highly recommend it."

"I quite enjoyed my time at Deakachimba and found the staff, amenities and location to be quite up to scratch. Boons: - a free breakfast of different varieties. It is uncommon in this era to receive any form of complimentary benefit so the inclusion of a nutritious breakfast in the price is most welcome. - fine bonhomie was on show from all the staff - located in the middle of Granada. Even a lazy person can walk to the square in mere minutes - all the facilities worked - thank The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost for the fan. The highest setting is your majesterial gust that fans away the hellish boiling air of the tropics. - my soiled linens were laundered for a reasonable fee - tours of nearby natural wonders, and man-made features and events, were easily arranged with the bloke behind the desk Many thank yous, regards and well wishes"

"The welcome was very friendly. The hostel looked very cozy with hammocks, lounge chairs, and sofas. The breakfast area and relaxation area were well-designed. I was even offered a different breakfast because I didn't like the one they served. The room was nice and spacious and very clean. My suitcase could be left behind the counter on the day of my departure. They checked which taxi driver I was traveling with and asked where I was going—a kind of concern that I really appreciated. Everyone at the hostel was friendly."

"This hostel is great - I really enjoyed it here! The breakfast is lovely, drinks on offer at the bar (and a welcome drink too!). The location is good, and the staff are wonderful - really kind, helpful, chatty, flexible. Each bed has an individual fan, and I think there are air-conditioned options elsewhere in the hostel too, but in the dorm and with the fan it was cool enough to sleep at night. I would highly recommend this place!"
