"Excellent and stunning location. Wonderful views of Oslo fjord. Easy access to Oslo via local train station for sightseeing. Very easy to get around the area to explore. Excellent breakfast."

"Staff sometimes unhelpful and seemed short staffed in evenings. Confusion over room cleaning. Returned twice to room and the room had not been cleaned and they don’t make bed at all."

A hot embrace under the indifferent sky, reminding you life’s still got a few good tricks up its sleeve. The bed? Soft as a broken heart but damn if it doesn’t hold you just right. You sink into it, and it swallows you whole, like it knows you’ve been running on empty. And breakfast? It’s a wild buffet of choices—enough to make you question whether the world’s really gone to hell. A little bit of everything, and somehow, it all works."

Breakfast had its misses too—some of it tasted like it was just passing time on your plate, and don’t even get me started on the pancakes—no maple syrup, just a cruel joke in disguise. And if you’re an English speaker, you’re in for a game of charades. Signs, menus, the whole sauna spiel—Norwegian through and through. But then again, steam doesn’t need a damn dictionary. Coffee? Barely did its job, and no barista oat milk in sight—just a carton of disappointment. The shower? It dribbled out water like it was afraid to be noticed. And the toilet seat? Plain, plastic, and as inviting as a back-alley handshake."

"Could not rate this hotel and spa highly enough, value for money? More than! Everything from check in to (free late) check out was outstanding and the staff were exceptional with me and my family. Our room was upgraded for free and the breakfast was excellent. Special mention to Elizabeth for the outdoor sauna ritual and fjord swimming in the afternoon, a truly unforgettable experience."
