Set in a traditional wooden building, Tromso Activites Hostel is a family owned hostel located 700 metres from Tromsø Hurtigruten Ferry Terminal and 1.2 km from Polaria Aquarium. It offers budget-style rooms with free WiFi. Late check-in is possible via a self-service machine. All rooms at this family-owned hostel include access to shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. "Rooms didnt really get cleaned, apart from bins. I was in the room when cleaner would come in sometimes, but they just changed bins, no floor sweep etc. Also with reception being so short, if you had questions, there was noone to ask for things to do etc."

"Really good location and very friendly staff. My room was very spacious with only a couple of beds per room so had plenty of space. The kitchen was lovely within and out plenty of people to talk to. There is a nice shop just across the road which was great. This was my first time in a hostel so it was a great first experience."
"The bed felt a bit unstable and very creaky so will make a bit of noise every time you move and had a weird brick looking pillow that was quite small."

"We had a very enjoyable stay in this room. It was spacious and well equipped, including a small pantry that was very convenient. The bathroom was large and comfortable. We especially liked the view from the window, where we could see the beautiful lake. The room also had a sofa and a table, which made it a nice place for us to sit and relax in the evening. The surrounding area was peaceful and scenic. We spent some time walking around the lake."
"the location was perfect for me. i travelled there on my own for skiing. it was 100m from the railway station, which is one train and tram from the airport and 100m from the gondola for skiing. there was a supermarket 3 min walk away and a petrol station next door, that was open late and did food. the staff were very friendly and helpful. the breakfast nice and varied, english and continental style. one of the dinners i had was exceptionally good (Iberico secreto). the view from the room was lovely, overlooking the lake. the room was nice and warm (although 2 other separate people had problems with their heating). there was a bath with a shower in it. it was pretty good."
