"Moc pěkné udržované ubytování spíše rodinného rázu. Když jsem se ubytovala, venku pršelo a bylo chladněji, takže majitelka roztopila krb. Měla jsem čistý světlý pokoj s velkou postelí. Co oceňuji nejvíc je systém třídění odpadu a celkově přístup k přírodě, s tím jsme se setkali pouze v jednom dalším ubytování při naší cestě po Zélandu. Myslím si, že třídit odpad je to nejmenší, co všichni můžeme pro přírodu dělat."

"My stay was amazing. If I could, I would have extended my stay. The view and the location is amazing and the owners are so lovely. You feel like home far away from home from the first second. The best hostel I‘ve stayed during my 4 weeks in New Zealand."

"Simple classical hostel metal bed frames that move/shake quite easily when the bottom or top person is turning"

"Nice staff, let me hang out in the common area while I was waiting for my train and it was bad weather outside. I had private room, that was nice with nice view. Great areas to eat also outside."

"Beds (especially top bunks) were super shaky and squeaky and not mounted against the wall. Only one fridge"

"A very friendly and well run backpackers hostel. I had a double room with ensuite and had the best sleep so far in NZ. The hill up to it, dragging my suitcase in a hailstorm, wasn't fun, but the views of the bay and mountains next morning were worth it!"

"The atmosphere is calming, and I enjoyed the company of people around me and appreciating taking the time to see nz from an outside point of view from the other guests stories."

"Good budget accommodation for a stay in Kaikoura. Near to the center with restaurants/shops (grocery store a bit further, though), and not too far from the seal colony. A bit long on foot, but can be reached quickly by bike. Good shared kitchen."

"No bed curtains or lockers in the shared rooms. Free bike provided, but a very very basic one (can't really complain about it though, since it's free and it brought me where I needed to go). Shared bathrooms seem a bit too few, but it wasn't that packed when I stayed, so not too bad."
