"Larrie & Tina are so friendly, they greet you as though you're family and definitely go the extra mile to make sure their guests are comfortable. The unit is spotlessly clean, warm & dry and the beds are very comfortable. We booked this accommodation in Waihi beach to be with family over Easter but wanted to be able to come back to the unit for some rest and relaxation during the day. And that was exactly what we got, the place has a lovely relaxing vibe. You can hear the waves crashing on the beach when the sliding door is open. What a fantastic place! We loved it."

"If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"
