For the enjoyment of our guests, there are multiple activities within the immediate surrounding area including the world renowned Tongariro Alpine Crossing {with a host of beautiful short walks throughout the valley region}, canoeing and river rafting, numerous mountain biking trails, trout fishing and nearby thermal pools. "We were in the wing and loved it. Spacious and well stocked kitchen. We made a fire and that was cozy. Everything is well maintained. We will be back!"

"It is the second time we stayed at this place. We stayed in a twin bed with private bathroom room. Clean and tidy, quiet, and found the access to a guest kitchen great to prepare our own food. They even mailed me a phone charger I forgot at no charge. I would stay there again without hesitation."

There are a few eating options close by as well - CamoKai takeaways within walking distance and the Station (have to drive to it), plus a nice coffee place called the Beach. The staff were great to chat to also!"
