"Ubytováni i program ,ktery jsme si nasledně vybrali byl velmi pěkný. Majitel se pečlivě staral o vše co bylo potřeba. Už před příjezdem nás kontaktoval o místě setkání a přijel si tam pro nás,abychom ubytováni nehledali. Vše čisté,vstřícny personál,pokoje velké,pohodlné.Pitná voda v lahvičkách k dispozici kdykoliv z lednice. Výborné datle. Využili jsme i možnost vyzkoušet k večeři místni skvělou kuchyni.Bazén v objektu je skvělou třešničkou na dortu."

"A simple but beautifully presented place right on the edge of the dunes. We had a very comfortable stay, enjoyed the swimming pool and Majid (the manager) in particular was so helpful and welcoming. Majid leads excursions for guests (we went to the dunes for sunset and then did a 5 hour trip into the desert with him - both were great - he is an excellent driver!). Majid also organised delicious food made by his wife which about 8-9 of us shared together. His children came to help and are all delightful. He was a major part of our lovely experience of sitting at the Sand House."

"We didn't enjoy our breakfasts. There was little to cater to more Western tastes and we are very little of what was provided. This was just one thing though in what was otherwise a great experience staying at the Sand House."

"Great location if you don't want to rent an expensive 4x4 to drive all the way into the desert. Friendly staff and a nice somewhat shallow pool that heated nicely in the sun, even during our visit in december."

"Very clean and neat facilities, breakfast was pretty good and had a good variety. We did a guided sunrise desert tour which was stunning! Also managed to fit in camel rides and the guide took us to his house for traditional Omani coffee. The place has a swimming pool which was warm and well maintained. You don't need a 4x4 to access the property and it's easy enough to get to with an ordinary car."

"En-suite showers have no doors so water goes everywhere! Bring a pair of flip flops to shower. The caretaker of the property has limited English and didn't suggest activities for us to do during our stay, we had to figure it out for ourselves. Bring cash for any extra activities you're planning as there is no credit card facilities, although there is an atm in town, about 2km from the property."

"The property was clean and ambience makes you feel like a home. The best thing is you can drive all the way to the property in saloon car. Majed was super helpful. He took us to his house for a Karak chai."

"It was more of a BnB property with pool in desert. The property was reachable without a 4x4 car saving extra money Our host Mr Majid was wonderful and helpful"

"We liked everything. It is far way better even than a 5 star hotel! We booked the bubble room and in first night we were alone at the property like we owned the place. Although we could stay in any of other rooms inside hotels which were also perfect super new rooms with 5 star views but we prefered to stay in the bubble for our very first time.Super clean, decent breakfast (only this needs attention) but you have a kitchen, bbq and very close (by car) a supermarket and you will feel like home eventually. And last but not least Mister Majed, the external partner which makes activities in Wahiba Sands and also the guy who helps to have a smooth check in before you arrive, is an outstanding person who fulfil every inquiry and makes our stay even better. So if you havent booked anything for safari or other activities in the area, Mr. Majed will take care for you for very reasonable prices."
